My experience at Blue Mercury in East Hampton was disappointing, to say the least. As a black woman searching for foundation, I encountered the all-too-familiar issue of my shade not being available in-store. Consequently, I had to resort to ordering online, with the promise of delivery to my address within a few days. However, the product never arrived, and attempts to contact the store proved futile as calls never seemed to connect.
Frustrated by the lack of communication and unresolved issue, I resorted to disputing the charge with my bank. Unfortunately, even my bank failed to side with me on this matter, exacerbating my frustration. It's disheartening to encounter such poor customer service and lack of accountability.
Moving forward, I intend to escalate this matter to Blue Mercury's corporate office. My advice to others considering shopping at this location is simple: if they don't have your desired product in stock, don't bother.
