The Bronxville Market is the best place to be on a Saturday morning! So many interesting vendors. You can hit up the mushroom vendor who sells mushroom kits and fresh seasonal shrooms. There's are sellers of wine and spirits like whisky, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood and straight out of the ground vegetables and fruits. There are so many options so come prepared to be overwhelmed! Also bring your own shopping bags. FYI plastic is NOT recommended even for a short trip from the market to home. Use cotton or paper. Be ready to indulge in bakery goods, charcuterie boards, tastes of Greece, Italy, Spain and more. Awaken your senses with the handmade soaps, candles and body oils. Too much to name but so worth a few hours on Saturday. There are walking paths and a small park next to the market where moms and dads bring the children and pets for play dates and exercise.    Read moreThe Bronxville farmers market is a nice small market. There are always a few stands representing farms upstate who have their share of vegetables, fruit and cider donuts. Generally good pricing. Gotta get the cider donuts.
The rest of the stands are a mix of pie, fresh bread, cheese shops, prepared Italian food, pickle guy, specialty coffee, etc. It can get a bit pricey, so take care with what you get.
They often have music which makes me smile on a fall morning.
