My daughter made an appointment for prom. Curls only— asked me to reserve her place with my card— I did and quoted $55–early April we booked for 5/25. I was with her because she use my card. Hutchison River pkway closed exit and she called to say she’d be late. Called again because the traffic was horrendous. Due to exit. They couldn’t take her — and we understood — we were late we’ll pay $55. THEY CALLED TO SAY THEY COULD TAKE HER BUT HER SISTER TOOK HER SOMEWHERE ELES. SO WE THANKED THEM AND AGAIN UNDERSTOOK WED BE CHARGED 55. They charged us $100. BASICALLY STOLE FROM A 17 year old girl. We called our bank and bbb to report them

We are not arguing about someone’s time. She specifically asked for blow and curls, simple- 55 dollars. We were quoted. And no we were not aware of the cancellation policy so stop lying. Very unprofessional. And yes I do value peoples time and am willing to pay 55 dollars. But I do not value stealing and lying. She did not say “formal styling” that was quoted on your website. She said “blowout and curls -$55” also quoted on your website and did say it was for her prom- which does not give you the right to charge another 45.This is a curtesy to you which you do not deserve. wish i could give zero stars. I have not used this business and I'm glad i did not. I have seen their makeup they do and it is gross and cakey. They are extremely unprofessional. When i unexpectedly ran into traffic, typically a 15 minute drive to a one hour due to a closed lane on the highway, they cancelled on me on my prom day. When making my appt i also asked for simple blow out and curl like stated on their website but after THEY cancelled my appointment, they charged me 100 dollars. It says on their website that a blow out and curls is 55+. First they should have never charged me the full price when cancelling on me but to charge me double is disgusting. I understand being late and them not taking me 100%. But, to charge me the full price is a little outrageous when they claim i knew they would if i was late but i was never told that. And i have pictures of my prom hair from somewhere else - blowout and curls. SIMPLE. And 50 bucks. Not worth 100. Like o said i stated on the phone it would be a “simple blowout and curl” but it was my prom. I don’t believe that they should just charge me and extra 45 dollars bc it was my prom. The woman at the front desk was a doorknob. I don't think she is qualified for her job when all she does...

I love love LOVE this salon! The first time I came in was last August 2020. My hair was an absolute mess from trying to dye it myself during the pandemic. I came in for just a cut with Lydia who was super sweet and not judgmental at all about my mop head lol. She recommended coming in and having their colorist Lola do a touch up. I pushed it off until this March. I had called to see if I could schedule a consultation, and the receptionist was able to squeeze me in for a coloring that very same day. Lola was fantastic and completely transformed my hair, it felt so silky and smooth as I was leaving the salon I was in love! Again, I pushed off going in for another coloring until this August (see my roots in the second picture, yikes!) I set up an appointment with the owner, Violeta, who was very professional and didn't keep me waiting even though the salon was full. I showed her some examples of what I wanted and she knew exactly the style I was going for. Overall the staff is great, the prices are fair, and I will definitely be coming back.
