I am regular at this place I love the food me and my wife go there but on this Wednesday my wife gets the idea to go on happy hour wich my wife tells me they have specials on all tapas wich are apettizers and drinks until 7pm so we go in and we sit at the bar wich they tells us that’s the only area for happy hours and we’re ok with that here comes the menu they tell us happy hour on all tapas and drinks I’m like ok I order a Spanish old fashioned to drink and 3 tapas my wife orders martini and we stayed there till like 830 after the happy hour finishes I know basically what I order during and after happy hour wich were a couple of more martinis and old fashioned so wen I ask for the bill the bill is 433 dollars so since 530 basically an hour and a half before the happy hour finishes they only charge me 2 old fashioned at 8 dollars cause they cost 16 full price and only one martini at 11 dollars wich it cost 18 dollars full price and not 1 of the appetizers were on Happy hour all were full price when I ask the manager he tells me that those tapas were not on happy hours but clearly they’re menu says all tapas on happy hour anybody that drinks knows that in 1 hour and a half there’s no way you only gonna drink one martini and 2 old fashioned so I ask he tells me some random excuse and he gave a 56 dollars discount and I’m like so why you don’t say from the beginning why all tapas are not on happy hour I was very frustrated and I felt very unsatisfied with the place I used to love this place but don’t try to cheat people you say one thing and then when the bill comes you say another I hope this review helps and check you’re bill cause they’re clearly not doing the...
Read moreBuleria Tapas & Wine is a taste of Spain in the heart of Westchester. Located on Main Street of Tuckahoe, the restaurant offers some of the best takes of some Spanish classics, a menu with a variety of options, and a fully loaded bar. I stopped by for Brunch and enjoyed these with some bottomless Mimosas:
Chorizo Empanadas - Bursting, bursting, bursting with flavor. The first bite let me know what was up. It was so good, we got another order of the Chicken Empanadas which were great too!
Chorizo - I hate saying something was the best I ever had…but this was the best Chorizo I ever had. The chorizo itself was juicy and smoky, and the toppings took it to another level.
Queso Batido - This was so darn good, I took the leftovers home and ate it with any carb I could find. The Ricotta snd Honey go together so well, and then you get that lovely crunch from the Pistachio. Chef’s Kiss
Paella Mixta - Dishes like these are the reason why I fell in love with food. The meats, the seafood, the flavors, the look of it…everything was just so captivating.
Noah’s Cookie Stash & Assorted Ice Cream - I had to finish this off with a nice dessert to put a bow on a wonderful meal. This did the trick.
Buleria is a Flamenco dance from Spain that is all about passionate expression. This is such a fitting name because you can taste the passion in every single dish. Someone in the kitchen is cooking with love. Fun and elegant are two words to describe Buleria. Go ahead and add this to your list, because I’ll definitely be back....
Read moreMy daughter took me for dinner to this hidden gem in Tuckahoe. Oh my!!! From the minute we walked in, we were wowed with the welcoming decor and the warm and professional service from the hostess to the servers and support staff. We started off with puntas (filet mignon tips) cooked to perfection, followed a perfectly charred Octopus with a hint of smoked pimenton de la vera (Spanish smoked paprika), we also had the Escalivada (Roasted eggplant and peppers with a sprinkle of goat cheese), then we had chipirones (baby squid), they came to the table on a smoking sizzler, (my daughter and I kept dunking the delicious bread they have in the delicious sauce). We ended up sharing a mixed paella and oh boy was that out of this world! We have accompanied all the aforementioned with a nice bottle of Albariño wine, and were able to save some room for the delicious home made apple gallette. The owner Luca, came over at the end of the meal and treated us to a scrumptious sherry wine named El candado. I wish, I could give this place 10 stars, what an experience that was, we are most definitely coming back soon. Weather you're in Tuckahoe or near by, I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant to anyone, Buleria is a Must have if in Westchester! Great job Luca, keep up the excellent work and the delicious...
