Burlington — Local services in Town of Grand Chute

I am absolutely horrified by the service I have received from Burlington Coat Factory. I ordered a dresser and a crib back in October of 2012 and received the crib that day but was told I would have to wait 12 to 16 weeks for my dresser to arrive at the store. No problem with that until 16 weeks was up and I called to see what the status was on the dresser. Come to find out the dresser was never ordered and we already paid for it. Now my baby is expected any day now and still no dresser as of March 8th and they still dont know where the dresser is. They cant tell me if it is on a truck or in a different store. They have no way of tracking these items... So 5 months go by without any idea of where the dresser is and my child is going to be here in less than a week... Management made promises left and right telling me for 2 months straight that my dresser is on its way and blah blah blah. I wen to baby's R us and they had the same dresser for cheaper and it was delivered within 3 days... I will NEVER recommend anyone use burlington coat factories service and they will never get my business again... Baby's R Us stands WAY ahead of the game compared to Burlington...

BUYERS BEWARE!!! My phone was stolen here. I set it on the cart and turned my back towards a rack for 30 seconds. I immediately ran to management to have her check the cameras and she basically said it was pointless. I insisted that it had just been stolen & for her to look so she did but said nothing could be seem from the cameras bc their systems are not good. Upon talking to another employee it sounds like this has happened MANY times. I called the cops and made a police report and the manager left before showing the cop the video which really made me wonder if she was in on it between that and the lack of action when I told her what happened. (I've had stores take more action when I told them my son dropped his hat in the store) these thieves know that they keep getting away with this and are praying on unsuspecting customers!!! So if you are shopping here then keep your stuff on you and close to your body!!!! You would think the store would post signs since this seems to be a reoccurring problem but they don't. Something is not...

I went to Burlington Coat Factory in Appleton today with my wife for the first time, I was instantly greeted by Jason who was very helpful in explaining the lay out and thanking us for coming in. I was very much impressed with this because Im getting used to poor customer service in almost everything these days. But he and the whole staff reminded me and my wife what customer service should be. Every person on the staff was genuine and helpful. They store is filled with great deals and is not limited in its style selection. I wish I could rate the service higher than a 3!! I will be going back every season for clothes and to check on there home goods and there fantastic selection of Baby and Maternity products. I cant stress enough how happy I am to know there is a store out there that still cares about customer service and being helpful is not the same as pushy!!! Great Job Burlington you...
