Was in town for daughter's volleyball tournament at the Champion Center. I wanted her to have a hearty breakfast before her first game, so she chose ihop. What a terrible decision.

We were seated and the waiter came over to take our order within a few minutes. Perfect! He came with my coffee and French vanilla creamers and a strawberry lemonade for my daughter. Then, we sat and waited and waited and waited.

The waiter never came back to check on us, never apologized for the wait, never came to refill my coffee. What we did observe was that tables coming after us, were being served their food...while, you guessed it, we just waited. On our way out, I had to stop our waiter to let him know we had to leave and his only response was, "I understand."

We gave a generous 50 minutes, and then we had to leave so she wouldn't miss warm-ups and her first bracket game. We thought over an hour to spare would have been enough time. Not at this ihop!

We ended up at the McDonalds drive thru so that she could at least get something in her belly. Glad she didn't let this experience affect her game play but she sure told her disappointment to all her teammates and friends. She also told me not to post a review because that's cringe, but me, being an old person, I wanted to let people know of the experience.

Btw, they won in their...

I don’t know if they have problems with their app or what, but their hours say open until 10pm so at 8:40 I assumed they were still open. I ordered through their mobile app and was told it would be available 15 minutes and when I arrived I saw an open sign obviously left on because the whole place was dark. I called and no answer. I then obviously called in the morning to let them know I put in an order when they weren’t open and to ask for a refund. The man that answered the phone told me that they close at 8pm on Sunday's and okay that makes sense, but why was I able to order food, or get a confirmation email that they have my order, and then call with no answer and hear on the answering machine that they are open till 10. The guy try’s to tell me that I must have ordered off of one of the apps like grub hub or door dash and I argued that that definitely wasn’t the case. I asked to speak to the manager and he said “I wish you could sweetie.” In the end he took my name and number to give to the manager that obviously isn’t present. I literally just wanted some food late at night and all they did was take my money. If I wouldn’t have called they wouldn’t have even known…..so I guess I just wonder how many times people have lost there money ordering in...

Good things first: eggs were done well, the spicy poblano eggs benedict was frankly quite good and I am sad I won't get to try them again... because everything else was from ok to bad. The restaurant was dirty and in considerable disrepair, the portions of the hashbrowns were kind of insulting given the price, the glasses and silverware were dirty, and the prices in general were a bit steep even before other considerations. There were damaged walls, ripped and damaged seats, the ceiling has stains and damage, and there were a lot of dirty patches and corners throughout. There were a few strange smells that occasionally showed up as well. I am a hashbrowns guy. Big time. I love the crispy outside and fluffy inside... so long as there is an inside. These hashbrowns were very thin and dry. The bacon was overcooked and seemed like it was probably microwaved. The coffee was watery and bitter. This was not what I had come to expect from IHOP, and there are all the signs that they were understaffed and that management (either local or corporate) has lost their grip on needs to be done. This was not a 1 star because the staff were trying and some of the food was tasty. But, we aren't...

I hadn't been here in 10 years so was thinking it would be an expensive but decent breakfast. Unfortunately it was not a good experience. We were seated in a booth with big holes in the chairs and then it took at least 10 minutes for the waitress to see us. There were flies all over and the glasses of water were not clean. We wiped a little spot to show how dirty they were. The food was acceptable but the waitress was not attentive to us. It took her at least 20 minutes after taking our order to actually place it with the kitchen. There were no other tables seated but somehow it took 45 minutes to get our food. The owner needs to invest in higher wages to attract more help and invest in the upkeep of the business. Also maybe drug test the employees and require that they dont bring their children to work to roam the restaurant aimlessly. I cant imagine eating there when its actually busy. Probably never going back.

Just left this place. The food was good. The service was fine. The table was dirty, the syrup tray was Nasty! And the bathroom was Nasty, specifically the toilet. When we entered there was only one other customer, our waitress set us across the room which was great, trying to avoid other folks during flu & COVID season, then she seated another couple right next to us. I mean there were plenty of open tables. When I mentioned the table was dirty she was about to offer to clean it but I already had sanitizing wipes out, I just wanted her to be aware, I mentioned the filthy syrup caddy and she said "I only work 2 days a week, not sure why they are all dirty" and "sorry about that" and walked away. We spent $65 We won't be back.
