This is a must-stop if you play hockey. It's the best hockey shop I've ever been to! Stopped in to get my son’s skates sharpened and my son found another hockey stick and was shooting a few pucks with it at the store(they have an area set up for that). I initially told my son to put it back so he doesn’t break something, but the store owner came out and said no, it’s ok. If he breaks it, it’s on the house. I laughed, and he started to teach my son some pointers on how to hit the puck. I never played hockey as a kid, so I’m learning with my 6-year-old son. The owner took time out of his busy day to teach me a little about the game and how to equip my son, even though I bought most of his stuff elsewhere. The guys at the store taped the hand and foot wrap on my son’s new hockey stick, which I got him. It is a long review, but needless to say, you need to make this your only stop for hockey supplies. They go out of their way to help you in any way they can. They don’t try to upsell you either. They tell you what you need and not what looks cool or what’s in. I recently purchased new hockey skates for my son at EJ's and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The gentleman that helped us was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to answer all of our questions and ensuring that my son found the perfect skates. The selection of skates was vast and of high quality, and the prices were very competitive. The shop also offered professional skate fitting services which was a huge plus. After we left the shop we realized there had been a slight snafu, but the gentleman who helped us called us up within minutes explaining the issue and offering a solution. In my 30's and just getting into hockey this year, had a referral to check out Ej's as there were only a couple places I could think of in the valley to start.

In my two visits today, I was helped greatly by each employee. They were well mannered, friendly, accommodating, and didn't apply unnecessary pressure to up-sell. Even as they were busy, the staff was helpful and polite with answering my questions and curiosities.

I felt neither rushed or exhausted by the experience which was incredibly reassuring.
