Woke up on sunday morning at my hotel as I am visiting from los angeles. Had a great morning, great breakfast.Nice cup of tea and headed out to L.A. Fitness to workout. Decided to pop into Dick's sporting goods to pick up a pair of workout gloves. Came through Barnes and Noble at eleven o'clock to the back gate of Dicks. The gate was closed when I ask the employee who was at the register.If the gate was going to be opened, he said.Yes , the manager will be right along to open it. Waited ten minutes and no manager. Drove around to the front of the Mall and went in through JC Penney's and still couldn't find the entrance. After calling the manager I had to drive all the way back around. Finally got my gloves and made it to my workout for eleven thirty. Now 20 minutes behind schedule Due to some lazy manager who couldn't do his job. Is it too much to ask to have someone do their job. Not asking him to go above and beyond.Just do your job open.The gate when it's supposed to be open. Ruined my morning. All because some lazy manager Craig can't do his job. I guess this is who they choose to represent...
Read moreI’m writing this review just a couple hours after leaving the store, and I usually don’t write reviews online but I really felt the need to point out one employee in particular. The young guy that works in the lodge area, Chris, was absolutely wonderful in helping me figure out which firearm would be the best. I’m certainly not the most educated person when it comes to firearms but my husband does a lot of hunting and just recently got his pistol permit so I wanted to surprise him. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable and went the extra mile in explaining to me the different capabilities and uses for everything he showed me. He is extremely personable, friendly, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. He is clearly an expert in the field and management should feel really lucky to have such a dedicated, intelligent, and passionate employee on their team. Thanks...
Read moreCalled to verify product was in store before placing online order for curbside pick up they said it was so I placed order and received confirmation email saying it would be ready on an hour. Three hours go by and I still have received email saying it was ready for pickup so I call and get told it's still being processed so I wait another three hours and call back and get told that they didn't have the product and my order was canceled as soon as I put it in and now I have to wait 3-5 business days for my money because they put a hold on it. I ended up spending double at a different store because I didn't have time to look around being I'm flying out of town tonight. So to anyone reading this I wouldn't recommend using...
