Ardene Liquidation Store — Local services in Town of Guilderland

My wife and I came to this store today. Looked around. Found a few nice items for my wife. At time of checkout there was a decent number of people in line ( 8 or more ). There were 5 girls who worked there casually standing around the counter gossiping. The manager was one of the 5. Not once did they care to jump on the other register and start helping the customers. They were more involved in their non work related conversations. We waited 10 or more minutes and finally checked out. We have two small children so trying to keep them entertained and occupied is a chore in it's own. My wife bought a nice jacket but was unable to try it on before we bought it due to the irritated children. Non the less the jacket was too big. Tonight she went back to try and exchange it for a smaller one. The staff including the manager were unbelievably disrespectful. They didn't have the proper size so my wife was looking for a refund. Unbenounced to her there is no cash refunds. They are supposed to circle this policy on the receipt at checkout. But since they were so focused on gossip and couldn't give the cashier a hand she forgot to do so. At the store they have a sign that states the policy. But go figure, the sign is attached to the computer and is as small as a playing card. Oh yeah, and hidden by a bunch of junk on the counter. The manger became very argumentative and aggressive when my wife pointed out their bait and switch tactics. This lady is in the service industry dealing with people everyday. If she doesn't like dealing with people she should find a new job. Her overly aggressive tactics made my wife feel extremely uncomfortable and frustrated. I have already contacted the district manager via email and plan on contacting the corporate office on Monday. Luckily my wife had the whole ordeal on video tape so we can show the corporate bug wigs what kind of store managers they have running this store. I guess I'd be upset if I had to work for 12 dollars an hour. But I wouldn't take it out on the customers. I hope she feels good about herself treating my wife like a piece of garbage. I'm also posting the video on their Facebook and INSTAGRAM. Maybe I'll call news channel 13. I'll let the GM...

To say I love this place would be a vast understatement. I am in here almost every week checking out the styles and deals. There's always a good sale going on, and the clothes are of great quality. The staff is SUPER friendly and are always helpful when I need assistance. I get most of my clothing here and recommend this place to everyone I know. This is my favorite store...

Negative experience @Crossgates Mall in Albany, NY! I went to visit this store for the first time. It is 15-10 minutes to close, and I am told that store is closed.
