7-Eleven — Local services in Town of Hempstead

Not 24 hrs at all. There were many times I've gone there this month when it was only 1am and there was a sign on the door that said "closed opens 3am" and the door was locked.

What's the point of having a 24hr convenience store if you can't even go there at 1am to 3am?? That's literally what 24hr stores are for.

It never used to be like this. I used to rely on this place to actually be 24/7. Which is why recently I showed up and some people were already there in the parking lot extremely confused and knocking on the door waiting and talking about how they come here all the time why the sudden change.

And the store guy still never unlocked it until like 3:30am. It's only when this one guy is on shift too. I bet the owners dont even know. And most of the time when the door is locked, he's not even in the store. That's why he can't hear...

NEVER coming back to this location. I walked in with my empty 7/11 coffee cup, I refilled it and proceeded to pay at the counter. I told the manager in the morning time named JAS that it was a refill. He tried to charge me full price while saying I did not come in with a cup when I actually did. I told him to rerun the cameras and he said he would call the boss to do so. I proceeded to wait until he said that “the boss is not answering and I can have the coffee this time.” I left the coffee on the counter with JAS. I can’t believe after buying multiple coffees throughout the day at many different 7/11s in the Valley Stream/Hewlett area that I was claimed to be a liar over a $1.5 price difference. JAS needs to learn how to treat customers. Because of him, this 7/11 will be losing...

This place used to be five stars with me. I do not know what happened, maybe new owners, but they have completely ruined it and should be forced to sell and never, ever own a store again. They have completely destroyed a nice, inviting store. Everyone that worked there knew everyone’s name and were so friendly. One day I came in and you could just sense the tension and unhappiness. Seems like they all left, and the joke of a workforce they have there now makes me avoid this store like the plague. Everyone looks so miserable, and are worthless if you need help with something. Not to mention the prices jumped 10-20 % overnight. Drive a little farther and go to the next 7-Eleven. I know all my coworkers...
