Where do I start ?? I have been coming to place for almost 4 months now . Me and my staffs. So I started placing orders online due to being busy at work ( I am a business owner) . First time I placed an order online my order was cancelled because they was no delivery person available, I called spoke to the manager he apologized and told me to replace the order . Delivery person ( female ) came in my shop didn’t even say hello , immediately asked for tip ? So me , my workers and my client stopped and looked at her and I said to her what happened?? She repeated her self and asked for tip again. She was told me that they told her tip was not included so she should ask me in person. I didn’t know tip was mandatory. On their website it states $0 delivery fee when placing an order online from their website. So I gave her a tip but I was still mad I didn’t call or say anything . Today now 4/19/24 I am working busy at work I’m hungry , tired and do not have time to step out to get food so I go online to placed an order . I placed the order and then I get a call saying no tip was included, I’m shocked that I would get a phone call about tip that is not mandatory. The staff at chicken coop argued with me about tipping and how the tip is for the drive gas and etc. why is that my problem?? I paid for my food and paid tax . There are no sticker on the window from Ny certificates stickers on the doors, windows . She started to yell at me because of what I was telling her . I said to her what if I don’t tip what happens she told me that my order will not get delivered and I would have to come pick it up. Guess what happened she canceled my order !!!! I asked to speak to an manager and she said he’s not here . Once I was done with work I went to chicken coop to speak to a manager who was there sitting down. I spoke to him there were no accommodation given just a simple I’m sorry. I felt like he wasn’t even listening to me . What I was saying went through one ear and came out the other. I spent a lot money at this place with friends , my workers , family and clients . Delivery suck , when you call to speak to someone it’s very unprofessional. Read moreThey delivered my food to the wrong place. It went to my home address instead of my place of work when the receipt clearly has the correct delivery address. Driver must have been looking at billing addess. Women that I spoke with on the phone could care less and never apologized for mistake. She just kept saying " yeah I know" . Nothing offered for inconvenience. Food is mediocre anyway and this will be my last time ordering.
UPDATE to restaurants response: I said to leave the food because the driver said it was my mistake however after doubling checking, it was in- fact the restaurants mistake! Still, I took the L and re-ordered my food this time for pickup (spending another 30$). You then called me to ask if my second order was a mistake and I explained YOUR mistake to you. You then told me that if I picked up the second order I placed, you would cancel my new order and give me the food( I assume as compensation for YOUR mistake). We agreed that I would pick up this new order and you would cancel it on the app so that I wouldn't be charged . You then called me back 10 mins later stating I would need to place a THIRD order ( after you already told me to cancel my second order and you could " just give me the food". Terrible customer service.
Im pretty sure you thought the food was left on my doorstep ( my delivery is set to that ) and you were going to send the driver back so you could serve that steak to another customer. Because why else would you change your mind about not charging me for a new pickup order ? Driver must have told you my husband took in the delivery.
When my co-worker picked up my food(because I already missed my break ), she showed you a screen shot of the "delivery address " . You did in-fact see your mistake so please do not tell lies. Again, offered no compensation for YOUR mistake. I didn't buy lunch for my husband. I bought it for myself and it was meant to be delivered at my place of work , not my home. And yes we absolutely did resolve this... I will never order from you ever again. Good luck with...
Read moreThe owner is in this place is a horrible person, she made a lot of deal with me before we had diiner party in the resturant. She didn't keep the deal and pretend that she forgot. Everyone is there at 7.00pm , the food didn't serve untill 8.pm, we ate and and finish birthday cake at 9.10. The reason , we had a diiner there becasue she said we could have Karaoke after and she clsoed at 10.pm. After the finisheing the birthday cake ,I asked her about Karaoke, she said "NO" that we should have done it before,but I said we were having dinner. Any way, she said she need to clsed now. I asked her for a couple of songs at least , she said she need to clean up by 10.pm. It is horrible that I spent $ 25 for 4 dinner plats of rice. and so one.
This is the lesson for everyone to go in this place. In this economic like this , she should even kiss us for bringing business to her specail Wednesday night for extra 23 people. The foods are not great and the service is slow. She even know what the fork or spoon to serve for the cake , no napkins, no fill up the soda( which she agreed then refused claiming that she didn't remmeber that she told me and she paid for soda(of course youpaid for it))
I can go on and on, but I kept my cool last night becasue of my duaghter 's birthday. If I am alone, I might have throw the plate of rice in her face.
