Jojo’s Juice Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

As a minority business owner I made it my business to patronize this place. The food is very good and so are the drinks. I go out of my way to go there. The last time I went I got a red bean soup. I was highly disappointed , one dumpling and half cup or carrots. I was already at home I called the store. The owner, later to find out was combative with me right away. She finally agreed to replace it. I felt like I was begging her to do the right thing. I was already apprehensive to call. She asked my name so I thought cool she will write it down. As I told her I don’t know when I was going to exactly be there. I went 2 weeks later and told her about the conversation. She immediately got nasty , rolled her eyes and said come back later. I told her to keep her soup. If it meant all the attitude. She basically accused me of lying. Over a $5 soup. I was already there spending close to $20 on drinks. I saw that someone said that the staff was friendly however today about 5pm that was NOT my experience. I said, “Hello” loud enough and no answer, I smiled at staffers, I just got a blank look. It was such a turn-off. Anyway I went ahead and ordered a peanut butter punch and I wanted to give the young lady the exact change so I asked her if I can get the coins from my car. She looked right through me and there was no response. I gave three stars because the punch was delicious but I would not visit this place again.
