I’m not someone who leaves reviews — and I’m definitely not someone who’s hard to work with. I knew there might be some paint chips or minor wear — that’s expected with a used car. But what I received was way beyond that and completely unacceptable. I bought two cars from this dealer. For that kind of money, you’d expect at least honesty and basic service. One of the cars showed up with chipped paint everywhere, undisclosed damage to the side of the minivan door, and electrical issues that prevent the door from functioning properly. I brought this up immediately upon delivery. Their response? They sent me some DIY paint and claimed they had already shown me the damage beforehand. I’ve attached the exact photo they sent — you can’t even see the damage they’re talking about. It’s laughable. I've also attached the actual photo of the damage. They also gave me an extended warranty, which I verified doesn’t even cover the damage I reported. I’ve given them chance after chance, going back and forth for over two months, trying to resolve this respectfully. Now they’ve stopped responding. They also run misleading ads — listing lower prices online, then slipping in a $4K down payment in the fine print. That should tell you everything you need to know. For now, I’ll be reporting this publicly here and through the BBB. If this isn’t resolved — meaning they either pay for the repairs — I’ll escalate the matter to the FTC and Attorney General. I’m documenting everything. Enough is enough. EDIT: As expected. They tell you to email to resolve. A week later. Still no response

Friendly staff who I will leave nameless out of respect, but unfortunately . . . . from a "Selling" standpoint, this place not only wastes your time, but also tries to rip you off or pull Bait & Switch on car offers, that customers appointments are predicated upon. CAR GURUS did exactly what the gentlemen who handled my appointment this morning at 11am did... calculated the best resale value for my 2016 Ford Focus, and the offer Car Gurus calculated was for a little over "7,600" (why he calculated the price again makes no sense, as I agreed to the price offer . . hence why an appointment was set up to sell my car to begin with). So yes. . . as stated I agreed to said offer, and set up an appointment, knowing full well there would be some negotiation, and I probably wouldn't get that full amount. . . here's the catch. . .they didn't even negotiate down to "$6,000", they only offered me "$4,000.00" in the end when I arrived in person for the cars appraisal. . and supposedly the lowest range for resale currently is "$5,125"?? Why waste a potential customer's time / bait and switch them like that regarding an offer to buy their vehicle? Sellers beware . . . Valley Stream Auto Outlet does not have their primary and/or 3rd party systems in-line for buying cars off of people looking to sell . . . to the point where the reality is they aren't even offering half of what the car is truly worth. I guess their tactics are also why they have so many vehicles not sold on their lot.

I went in just to look, not planning to buy, but the finance manager pressured me into getting insurance through “his guy,” claiming it would be cheaper. After signing up, I found out the actual cost was way higher and less than a month later, the insurance was canceled because the person he set me up with **wasn’t even a licensed broker**. Completely unacceptable. Then I was told I couldn’t finance with monthly payments, only biweekly. That’s just not true. I later learned they were pushing a third-party weekly payment plan, likely because the dealership gets a kickback. Very shady. The five-star reviews? Don’t trust them. They asked me to leave a five-star review before I even left the lot. Totally misleading. When I tried to follow up, the person who answered the phone was clueless and transferred me to a salesperson who couldn’t help. No manager ever got back to me. Avoid Stream Valley Auto Outlet at all costs. Their shady practices, dishonest staff, and fake reviews make them completely untrustworthy. Stream Valley Auto Outlet belongs in the trash

WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I came to this dealership after repeatedly being frustrate by Carvana and Sarah here made me regret not coming here right from the start! Sarah made what I thought should be a complicated process so simple and easy and we got everything settled on the day itself! She has a solution for everything, including returning the rental car i came in hahahha i think Stream Auto's Carguru Top Value Dealership is truly well earned. They are professional every step of the way and have literally a solution for everything! I am definitely coming here again for my next car and I definitely recommend my friends do the same. Thank you Sarah for making it so enjoyable for us! Thanks for the gifts too!!!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR BUYERS: I see a lot of confusion and frustration from other reviewers alleging fraud or bad practice by Stream Auto Outlet for adding uninformed "hidden fee" to the car loan. This is just a BIG misunderstanding due to the confusing way the invoice was presented. What you see in the part that says "Financing Cost" is actually the TOTAL INTEREST you will end up paying if you paid the car installment to your lender to the end of term. It is NOT a hidden fee ADDED to the cost of your car! To confirm this, you simply have to check with your auto loan account to see that your total loan is the car price + add on services + taxes. Whatever that scary number under "Financing Cost" is, was never added to your loan. So many people is confused and scared by this number that they don't check before posting hate online. I am ashamed to have been one of these people until Hector patiently called me to explain to me how it works and I confirmed with my bank and everything checked out.

Stream Auto Outlet is upstanding and truly had no hidden fees. After sale, they never ghosted me nor hidden from me but were always eager to help when I have mechanical problems with my car (due to an issue which is actually a known issue by Porsche currently under a class action lawsuit for bad design). This company and their staff has integrity...

An Unforgettable Dealership Experience

Walking into Stream Auto Outlet, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Buying a car can be stressful—pushy salespeople, overwhelming options, and hidden fees. But from the moment I stepped inside, I knew this experience would be different.

A friendly receptionist greeted me with a warm smile and offered me a cup of coffee while I waited for a sales associate. Within minutes, Danzel, a knowledgeable and professional consultant, introduced himself and asked me about my needs, budget, and preferences. He wasn’t just trying to sell me a car—he was genuinely listening.

Danzel guided me through their inventory, explaining the features of each vehicle in a way that made sense. He even asked about my lifestyle—did I travel a lot? Did I need extra cargo space? What safety features were most important to me? It felt like he wanted me to find the perfect car, not just make a sale.

After narrowing down my options, I took a test drive. Danzel encouraged me to test different road conditions, and he pointed out features I might have overlooked. There was no rush, no pressure—just a genuine desire to make sure I loved the car.

When it came to financing, the team was transparent and efficient. The finance manager, walked me through my options, explaining interest rates and warranties in a way that felt empowering rather than intimidating. There were no hidden fees, no last-minute surprises—just honesty and clarity.

Before driving off in my new car, the dealership’s customer service team gave me a full walkthrough of the vehicle, setting up my Bluetooth, adjusting the seat to my comfort, and making sure I felt confident behind the wheel. Danzel even followed up a few days later to ensure I was happy with my purchase.

This wasn’t just a car-buying experience; it was a seamless, enjoyable process that made me feel valued as a customer. Stream Auto Outlet didn’t just sell me a car—they earned my trust, and I’ll be recommending them to...
