Way too expensive for a thrift store. Used to be able to get dresses for under $9.99 the most. Now the prices have doubled to average $19.99 a dress. Crazy that some T-shirts are $7.99 and the picture shown is a children's overalls for $9.99. Poor lighting, filth all over the store including the clothes which smell dirty, store smells. Items are disorganized, either on the floor or tangled and falling off the hangers. I've always complained about the tags being stapled on the size of the clothing or on the clothing itself leaving holes. The fitting rooms are always crammed full of clothing and hangers left by other customers. By the way if that's how you keep your store, customers have no respect and won't clean up after themselves. There are huge dust balls in the fitting room so you're afaid to let the clothing touch the floor however that's impossible since there's not enough hooks and they're constantly falling. DEFINITELY DO NOT take off your shoes. The selection of children's clothes has always been poor and the furniture selection always scrungy. And all of these things including smells and dirty clothes are not found in other thrift stores. I used to buy everything that would fit and come out with bags of clothes. My last visit I bought one dress and one t-shirt. The cost of the other clothes were not worth spending that much money on. Was angry with myself for buying anything at all because of my complaints above. I had a routine of stopping at Salvation Army first because they close early then heading to Savers right down the road. Now I just head straight for Savers. I was told the profits go straight to the men's housing next door but I'd rather make cash donations then shop there again. The only reason I'll go back there is to take more pics of evidence so you see I'm not exaggerating. Just because this is a thrift store doesn't mean you should feel like you're digging through a garbage can. I've said a lot here so I won't go into the comparison to Savers or other thrift stores.

I am a real fan of the Salvation Army. When I first came down to FL in retirement I would "ring the bell" and work a kettle at Macy's at the Treasure Coast Mall from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve for 5 Yrs. They truly do "do the most good". I make it I point to buy stuff at their store when ever we travel.

The website & Google is wrong about their store hours. Waited over 40 minutes for them to open, because Google says 9am & they open at 10am. Store had clothes all over the floor when I walked in. Employees were nice, but barely spoke English.

I have only one charity, the Salvation Army. They were very helpful when I needed it. I grew up in Brooklyn in the projects. I wanted to travel but I didn't have much money. A friend told me that the Salvation Army is everywhere, so wherever you go, you can spend the night with them. They will feed you dinner, give you a clean bed to sleep on, and breakfast and farewell and Godspeed in the morning. So I went to California and back, and stayed in one of their places every night. In Snyder, Texas, they put me up in the Snyder Hotel, because they didn't have any other place for me. As a result of the treatment I received on my journey, I vowed to pay them back, which I have done and will continue to do. I have read some of the other reviews that were less than kind, and I have run into people of means that are never happy unless they have something, anything, to complain about. While I never abused drugs or alcohol, I have known people that were helped by the Salvation Army, and that's ALL THEY DO. They help people in need, and never ask for anything in return. That is the true meaning of charity. Whenever I donate clothing, it's always in good condition and clean, but even if it's not, they make sure that it is before providing those people who need it. This past Winter, I dropped off over a hundred pounds of clothing, worth many thousands of dollars, and I never ask for receipts. Where is it written that charity requires a tax deduction? I promise to continue to bring them anything I don't need for as long as I draw breath. As for the complainers, shame on you. Dr Bernard B...

Loved it and always leaned on it, also always donate there since I was a little kid. That's what we call the recycle in life. "One man's junk is another man's treasure" I still think the first law applies to this energy is never created or destroyed its recycled ♻️ lol Green 💚 arrows says Go. Don't forget to look for your sales or color scheme here, but me I'm listed as color blind for a time. With many hours online with a friend of mine that went by the alias Panda 🐼 she help me practice an train my eyes and with many test an training I could tell the difference between blue or purple. Still till this day I wonder is that still apart of that purple heart for my Grandpa. 💜 💖 💙 I guess after all sacrifice is the real word behind Salvation. But Salvation to me always was the head of the body. The helmet ⛑️ the cross, and What Jesus did for us all. It's not just protecting the books, it's Sharing them along the way.... Even the best ones. TO Amy and Autumn ... Daddy loves you and misses...
