The Hub — Local services in Town of Hempstead

All stores are clean even the Stop & Shop. Usually has working bathrooms and the Home Depot excellent bathrooms. Save your receipts. Great choice of products at the Home Depot. Some knowledgeable ones there. But be careful there's new ones just starting out. Especially in the rental area. The Stop & Shop has an organic section. But natural over in Garden City much better place to shop food-wise. And produce wise the produce here is okay but they buy cheap because the people in the area want cheap that really hurts the quality no way we can get our children to enjoy fruits and vegetables if you promote these kinds of things. and watch out for the Beggars near the Burger King they can be mean. But that's very rare. GNC I don't think it's good for anybody. Go over the Garden City just a few blocks away for anything real in your supplements or in your foods. But I am so glad to have that Home Depot in our area big big Life Saver also the credit union big big help Bethpage Federal Credit Union. AT&T pay your bills right in the store. Very very helpful staff at the AT&T store always nice always clean. Hate the GNC some of those products are rip-offs. Wish they never had a place that distracts you like that. Spend a few more pennies at Garden City some of the things are cheaper and the product quality is 10 times better at almost every healthy store just down Franklin Avenue in Garden City which is next to the post office. Subject: The Hub Property Convenience and Challenges

The Hub, recently rebranded as, is a bustling shopping mall in the heart of Hempstead. The property, now under new ownership, was managed by Sitecenter but recently I spoke to The Hub Development. They said site center no more in contract, The Hub offers a convenient location for residents, with a variety of stores, including:

Chase Bank -Berger king -Five Below Old Navy Federal Credit Union Bank Santander Bank Home Depot Urgent Care Stop & Shop Grocery Supermarket Chuck E. Cheese While The Hub provides a one-stop shopping experience, I have limited personal experience dealing with the property management. However, I had an insightful conversation with the GNC Manager in the parking lot. They shared their frustrating experience with the property management, citing difficulty in reaching the property manager when the air conditioning in their store malfunctioned on a sweltering 92°F day.

Despite this, the parking lot is spacious, accommodating a good number of cars for all the stores located within The Hub. I hope The Hub Development will address the property management issues to ensure a better experience for tenants and...

Shop during the day. I witnessed an older woman running in the parking lot after a young man, who was holding a woman's pocket book. She was yelling, help, help, help me, as she tried to catch him. I got back in my car and saw a policeman within seconds. As I was explaining what happened, the young man came walking across the street with his head down digging in the woman's pocket book. I yelled, there he is!!! The young man took off running. Now, the police were aware. Sad, what happened to that woman, she was anyone's mother or grandmother. I stopped shopping there. But, returned after several years absence. They now have parking lot security. SS has the lower sale on products other SS are marked up higher by .30c to $1.00. Also, SS in the Hempstead Hub, will have 3 for $5 on some products. While the other SS will have 2 for $5. I asked the mgr at the SS in Carle Place, why the discrepancy.
