Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I've been to many coldstones as I love the icecream. This one I will never return to. One of the workers, named Ally needs employee training on how to greet and treat customers. My partner and I stood in line waiting for anyone to acknowledge us. We thought perhaps as soon as Ally completed ringing up the woman in front, she would acknowledge us and find out why were were standing in line waiting. We were very patient. Instead she put her head down and went straight to the back. Perhaps our skin was too dark to be acknowledged. One of the employees finally stepped up and said " I have no idea why she did that, how can I help?" and proceeded to retrieve our online order from the freezer. He's the reason I provided this location with a second star. I spoke with the manager on the phone; he did explain he would speak with her. A call back would've been nice. I spent over $100 in your store after requesting a refund and conceding. My experience unpleasant...

I stopped by the Cold Stone in Merrick recently and had a really pleasant experience. The ice cream, as always, was delicious—rich, creamy, and full of flavor. They had a good variety of mix-ins and everything tasted fresh.The staff was friendly and patient, even though it got a bit busy while I was there. The place was clean and well-kept, with a nice atmosphere for a quick treat. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wait time was a little long during the rush, but that’s understandable with how popular the place is.
