We were SO lucky to work with Terry! From the moment we met her, we knew that she was going to make our wedding dreams come true. She knew exactly the vision I had and she made it come to life! My bouquet was honestly the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. She had the idea to integrate charms from both of my grandmothers as well as my grandpa’s coast guard medal - it meant the world to me and made the day that much more special. My bridesmaids’ bouquets was so simple and elegant (exactly what I wanted!), the boutonnières and the corsages were so classic and beautiful, and last but certainly not least, our chuppah was honestly the most beautiful work of art I’ve ever laid eyes on!! Terry made the chuppah herself out of birch trees. She said she was just going to put some simple greenery on it and some whispy white fabric (to go along with my theme), but what she delivered was SO much more than that. She accented with flowers from our theme, scattered throughout the chuppah, and put so much work and love into it. The detail of the flower arrangement on the beverage table, along with the beautiful table arrangements, and the lanterns with floral accents, really brought the whole night together and gave our wedding such a romantic feel! And let me not forget the cake! The flowers that she decorated with really brought it to another level! We got SO many compliments on how beautiful our cake was. Terry is so flexible and will work with you on any budget - we were so very appreciative of that! She is so kind and generous, and most of all, thoughtful. We could not be more grateful for her amazing talent! You will not be disappointed! We recommend Terry and Hengstenberg’s to everyone we know!! We had flowers brought to Bellport Country club for our wedding on 4/29/23. After multiple emails back and forth, and meeting in person I am very disappointed to say that we are not satisfied with how they came out.

While there were multiple issues that happened while at the florist (financial inconsistencies - multiple staff members trying to charge us different prices), the issues below are our main complaints:

Our flowers we suppose to be white, with greenery & some blue. My maid of honor was no longer in our wedding and I had requested multiple times that her special bouquet no longer had blue, and was only white. On our wedding day it was clear that this was disregarded and the bouquet did not match the others, which was extremely awkward to then have to give to a bridesmaid.

My biggest complaint however was that MY bouquet. The brides, had pink flowers in them. There was no pink in our wedding at all and it did not fully occur to me how noticeable this was until I received my photos back.

It is clear that there was a lack of communication & that the staff does not care enough to take your requests into consideration. After reaching out directly to the florist we still have yet to hear back.

We had the pleasure of working with Hengstenberg’s for our wedding in the summer of 2023 and the experience was truly wonderful. Jen was incredibly patient throughout the planning process, taking the time to understand our vision and making thoughtful suggestions. On the wedding day, the floral arrangements were nothing short of stunning. The flowers not only looked beautiful but also smelled amazing, adding a delightful aroma to the celebration.
