Long story not so short, the shop affiliated with this location that I send my wedding rings to, for cleaning and maintenance irreversibly damaged and ruined my ring. I was going back and forth and dealing with this ordeal from Dec 2023 to literally today 4/25/24. When I tell you, had it not been for Kelli and her staff here a Walt Whitman, I would have probably sued Kay Jewelers and left the nastiest review possible about their home office customer service department. They are the most unreasonable, unsatisfactory, inefficient representatives I’ve ever had to deal with in my life. For MONTHS, I could not get a clear answer as to what the solution for this damage to my ring was. I had to chase them down every week to get an answer, then when I get an answer it was constantly changing because I guess someone somewhere realized the options given to me BY THEM were either too pricey for them to do or they changed their minds and said they can exchange my ring but then put stipulations on my exchange to make it work in their favor, then refused refunding my husband his money when I said these option are not satisfactory to me. A. MESS. I literally had to consult an attorney to get a reasonable resolution and told them I will be sending documentation to their legal department. They did not care about what I wanted or how to make it right for me even though the company THEY employ to maintain and repair rings completely ruined mine. The best part of this entire nightmare was the staff at this store. Every last one of them (it was months so I dealt with them all at one point) They are the ONLY reason for this 5 star review. Firstly all the employees were staring at each other giving each other looks when I approached them as if they were trying to figure out who’s the loser that has to deal with me. When I asked the lady a question, she snorted and laughed before responding like it was the stupidest question ever nor did they have an actual jeweller there to help with the problem. Please hire adults who are considerate and not idiots who don’t take their jobs seriously. If you’re going to make customers feel like coming to your store to give business is an issue then we’d be more than happy to go elsewhere that deserves it and that’s exactly what I did. Ring we purchased they sent it out one diamond fell out and couldn't be fixed so told me I need a new setting the problem is my setting only cost me 1000 so I have to pick out a new setting for same price the problem is they don't have and setting for that price there all higher priced Karina is been going above and beyond but still no resolution and I'm starting to get frustrated and not at the staff when yoi spend 400 dollars on a life time warranty you expect them to honor it.
