My sister took an intro course at this location and decided she wanted to purchase a 4-class pack to continue going & determine whether Orange Theory is the right fit for her.
When she went back into the gym to speak with someone & to pay for those classes, she was met with immediate condescension from the manager (& instructor) of the location. His immediate response to her asking about the 4-class pack was "You're wasting your money" and "Your not going to see results with that."
Sorry.... wasting her money on services & a package offering that Orange Theory provides? Are you kidding me? Also -- who on earth is he to say what results she should be looking for through these classes. My sister is a beginner to fitness and doesn't want to make a major financial commitment to a (VERY expensive) membership before she takes a few more classes & figures out if it's the best option for her.
I can't emphasize enough how condescending and rude he was to her. As a fitness instructor, it's crazy that he could give so much attitude & judgement to someone who's simply trying to get started with going to the gym & fitness. My sister submitted a customer complaint on the cooperate website & he immediately called to follow-up with her. I was there for the call and there was ZERO customer service, ZERO authenticity, and ZERO apology for being so condescending & literally telling her NOT to buy classes from them because she wouldn't see results. He basically just berated her on the phone for leaving a review & "not understanding what he was trying to say."
If he was just a rude manager, fine, whatever. But this guy is instructing classes... I would hate to have someone as judgmental as him to be my instructor. Awful vibes...
Read moreI love the feeling that I have a personal trainer but I can still blend in with a group. I love the fact that it is a class but I don't have to follow a bunch of dance moves or routines to get a workout. I love how the trainers give just the right amount of coaching, teaching/demonstrating and encouragement. I love the positive atmosphere! I love the friendliness of the staff! I love the variety in the schedule of classes. I love the use of technology to track my progress. I don't love the price but it is totally worth it! I didn't think I would like the loud music but I love that a variety of music is played at every workout and it's not all hip-hop. I would love it even more if more Latin songs were played, though. :)I'm about a month into my membership and I am definitely enjoying being a member here and attending...
Read moreI was very hesitant to try an orange theory class. I tried one years ago in a different state and the coach saw where I was physically and made me feel terrible for needing to modify/ move at my own pace. I was nervous I would experience the same thing but after a friend convinced me to try it I can gladly say that my experience was the exact opposite. the front staff were friendly and Saro was amazing with me and introducing me to everything. I also took a class with James and he too was great with me. I had questions during the workout and he happily answered them. Not once did I feel like a misfit. I signed up for a membership the first day after Saro's class because I enjoyed it that much and new that this is what I needed to...
