The Whale Tea Melville — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Hi I just wanted to say it was pleasure to go to this place. We drink Boba tea all over when we travel. The tea was actually great, especially the ool long peach tea I had was fantastic. But what really made it was the lady behind the counter. I’m guessing she was the owner. It needs to be recognized bc the art of customer service has all but disappeared. It even took me by surprise bc it was so unexpected that someone still cares. Like we care about our business. So I applaud you thank you for such a great experience...

We have gone here several times. Their quality and flavour have been good. Unfortunately when we went today we ordered 4 drinks. And all of them were mediocre. The passionfruit slushy has a chemical taste. The Jasmine tea has no flavour- it just tastes like milk. The Thai tea was so weak. Like watered down. My passionfruit green tea was okay. Probably the best one of the bunch. I don't know if the person was having an off day or not.l - as it has beeb very good before. That's the only reason I didn't give...

I visited this place after some time for a matcha latte. Asked if they used fresh milk or milk powder. And the lady rolls her eyes and points at the menu saying “I don’t know what you mean” in a harsh tone. She was really nasty the whole time. I said less ice and she proceeded to add more. I have a card that I punch for a free drink after a certain number of visits. But I don’t think I’ll be coming here anymore because of the uncomfortable feeling I had...
