My Brand new iPhone has been giving me problems for a year. Every time I brought it in with questions and concerns, I was told it was simply the poor cell service in the area.
In January, my phone stopped receiving calls and making outgoing calls. I brought my phone in to the Verizon shop in Lockport to discover that the software was corrupt, and that my phone indeed was broken so they ordered a new phone. A return box was sent to my home So that I could mail back the broken phone.
When the box arrived, there was no return label in the box. I Actually opened the box at the Verizon store with DREW.
He called Verizon and they told him to have me seal the box with the broken phone And drop it off at a FedEx location. Now I’m thinking that’s super odd considering the label on the box will simply go back to my house., But that’s what they told us to do. So we did it. 🤦♀️
FedEx could not send the box, because the shipping label would in fact ship the box back to my house So this did not work! (No kidding).
I went back to Verizon in Lockport once again, and explained the problem. DREW kindly called them again and Verizon again said they would Email me a new shipping label. They confirmed my email address, and when the shipping label did not arrive in my email, I was told it could take a few days. So on my way I went.
Two weeks goes by and still no label. So once again, I find myself back at Verizon. I was lucky enough to get DREW(again). He knew the situation, so he called Verizon again and explained I had never received the shipping label to which they state they will resend me a shipping label through my e-Mail. Of course, this one never came either surprise! surprise! Even after, confirming my email address again!
Then I get a message from Verizon, that I am being charged $700 for the broken phone Because it had not been returned in a timely manner.
So I go back to Verizon for my fourth time to resolve this issue. I get an overweight young person with a scruffy Face and a bad haircut (or lack of) with a bad attitude who keeps asking me the same questions that I don’t have an answer to. He was very rude. He had no interest in solving my problem. He had no interest in taking the phone and sending it back to Verizon, which is what I had been told during my first visit there If the shipping label on the box hadn’t worked. He then stood up and told me to leave that he was not going to help me any longer.
This is seriously the poorest customer service I have received at this location, but not the first time I had witnessed it. During one of the four visits, I witnessed a woman who was very upset with their lack of service storm out. When he said he would call Verizon, he continued to sit there and stare at me. He had absolutely no interest in helping.
If you cannot solve the problems of a Verizon customer, then you should not have a Verizon...
Read moreYou’re better off going to a corporate Verizon store, as they can actually accomplish more than going here. I purchased an iPhone 14 awhile back taking advantage of one of the trade in promos. I had to pay off the remainder of my old phone to get the deal, which was fine. Andrew, the manager, paid off the wrong phone on our account, and it took a month or 2 for them to realize this, at which point they called me to inform me I now have to pay off the correct phone for the trade-in the work. They refused to help with refunding me for the first phone I paid off, as that was receiving credits from a different promo. Andrew did nothing to assist with his mistake, only advising me to call the main customer service line. I wasted several hours on the phone with Verizon’s customer service, and didn’t really get much of a resolution. Needless to say, I definitely don’t recommend buying anything through here, unless it is a very straightforward purchase, because when they mess up, they claim they can’t do anything to help you, and just push you onto Verizon’s phone customer service, which is less than ideal to deal with in...
Read moreI recently purchased my iPhone 14. After many many years of working for Verizon, I had retired. I finally decided it was time to treat myself to the very newest technology that was available in the iPhone series. My in store representative was Andrew. He was awesome.
I was very pleasantly surprised when he offered me the Apple Watch to go along with my new phone at a great price for both the watch and the service on it.
Even though I own a computer and a tablet, my watch came to my rescue very quickly when I had discovered that I lost my brand new phone in someone else’s car. It was very easy to find my phone through the app, and it was returned to me almost immediately. Thank you to the kind people who were so honest.
Throughout the years I have owned both android, and Apple products. To me, there is no comparison! It’s Apple all the way for me.
A great big thank you to Andrew, Apple and Verizon for an...
