Hannaford — Local services in Town of New Hartford

This is the third time that I have purchased Maine salmon and it has smelled fishy, and gone bad before the use by date. I also bought cod, and mussels this time, both rotten several days before the expiration date. Smelled super fishy, and the mussels were rotten. The mussels said they were packed on the 9th, and sold on the 15th, that seems off to me. Didn't catch it before I left the store, and I live 45 minutes away, didn't want to drive rotten fish back.

This is after I bought beef ribs two weeks ago and they too rotted before the date. I have tried to email, and Facebook customer service with no response, not sure what to do, but I can't keep spending money on food that is going to rot or...

They have the FRESHEST & BEST SEAFOOD ANYWHERE!!! And the ppl that work in that department are AWESOME especially LEVI,he is so accommodating, nice respectful & cooks my LOBSTER 2 PERFECTION, He knows how I like mine done..And he knows that I want my scallops whole pieces!! I'm not saying they have broken pieces but he goes out of his way 2 make sure they r all consistent...Ya I'm a little fussy but never had a problem there like other stores!!! I like shopping over at Hannaford because, everybody wears a mask, and follow floor distancing, and directional shopping. Most people are polite , and the store is not that crowded. That being said, I have been there many times, at all diffrent times of the day, and find the shelves bare, and not restocked. You can find toilet paper, and bleach, all day long, but I have never been able to pick up disinfectant wipes, since this COVID 19 has started.. somebody needs to learn how to re-order wipes. Prices are also much higher than Other stores....
