Atria Cutter Mill — Local services in Town of North Hempstead

My mother has lived here for 14 years. For the most part this has become her loving home. My sisters and I have always felt that the staff has been warm, caring and attentive. Needless to say, knowing that our mother is living in this residence has provided us with an enormous sense of security. Activities are provided but could be more varied and plentiful. It would be wonderful to include activities that promote conversation for those inclined to partake. The new activities director is trying to bring about some improvement. Food is plentiful although not varied. Overall the attention to care and kind attention is a constant by the staff - the aids, the drivers, the kitchen staff, those who run activities; they are superb. Communication opportunities for administrators and family members could be offered regularly. This would create a stronger sense of community and...

Looking at this location for my parents. They arranged for a tour within 1 days notice. The tour was impeccably done and myself and an associate were met with a 5 star comprehensive presentation that was warm, detailed and felt very genuine. Jane, who gave the tour, could not be more welcoming and nice. The facility was also recommended by a friend who had a relative here and he was boasting how he would like to live there as it was so nice. The facility definitely was incredibly clean and staff were all very nice and also welcoming. The amenities they offer are plentiful and the management really seem to care for the residents well. My aunt Joan will be moving into the Atria Cutter Mill in July Our experience so far has been nothing short of extraordinary Jane Galosic has been incredibly helpful and welcoming She has made my aunt feel right at home Everyone at Atria Cutter Mill has been so kind and caring especially Jane, Crista and Fanny We have looked at other places but my aunt insisted that the Atria Cutter Mill was going to be her new home The place is immaculate and we have not met a person that works there who is not pleasant,upbeat and kind I am sure my aunt will be very happy there and we feel that she will be well taken care of and enjoy the rest of her life there Thanks again to the wonderful staff at Atria Cutter Mill for helping to make my aunt's transition so much easier with your kindness and compassion ...
