Chanel/Hirshlifer I purchased a Chanel bag from the store on March 7th 2025 After the very first use my wife showed me the bag and it had black coloring on it from her dress so immediately I had concerned that this item may not be authentic I called the store they assured me that the product is authentic at the same time they mentioned this is a very normal situation they get Chanel bags returned all the time for color issues but it's not a problem bring it back to them they will send it to Chanel for repair. I wasn't quite happy with the repair idea, but I brought the bag to the store someone named Crystal in the repair department wrote up the ticket she said I will send this to Chanel they will repair and send it back to us immediately I requested a return or exchange instead of keeping the bag because after 2nd person in the store told me this is very normal and people get this kind of problem all the time I really wanted to return or exchange but they would not make an exception. She said if I can call Chanel directly and request them to credit the store and then the store will be able to exchange it for me, again or happy why do I need to call their supplier!! But I decided to agree and she gave me Chanel headquarters in NJ. I did call Chanel corporate office I was advised that this issue is between me and the retailer which I kind of agree however few days later I was told that Chanel is not willing to repair the bag so they shipped the bag back to harshlifer after waiting for 2 months I called hershlifer to find out what's the status they said Yes your bag is back come pick it up I went to pick up the bag and I asked Chad the store manager if they could still assist me with an exchange or return since Chanel is refusing to repair it and they said no there's nothing they can do and now I have a $6,500 bag that my wife wore only once and see the damaged that was caused on the first use I am attaching images for you guys to look at and do yourself a favor stop shopping at hirschleifer they do not stand behind their product.
I left a message for the owner to call me back, if I get a call back I will...
Read moreProbably one of the most frustrating shopping experiences in my entire lifetime, I came here because highly anticipated Eric Emanuel shorts were released at this location. I came into this store for the first time and was highly confused by the layout and who was an employee versus a customer. There seemed to be more Hirshleifers security with a store logo icon to identify them than staff representing the store. I then found an employee after twisting and turning, and asked about the shorts, which I already knew the color and size of. While trying to eliminate a long process, I told them what I wanted, which they proceeded to take me to the brand rack and show me the shorts, which I again stated were what I wanted. That request took about 7-13 minutes to arrive from the stock room, as I felt they had forgotten about what I had asked for. They then told me that if I paid with a card or Apple Pay, I would have to sign up for offers and an email list, etc., which to me was bizarre, as I had never had a store force me to sign up in order to make a purchase. So I did, and provided my ID, and then the shorts arrived after a long wait. I was then transferred to another area where I had to pay with Apple Pay. I waited for someone in that area for about 5 minutes, and then they came out with the POS system for me to pay. I attempted the Apple payment option twice, which failed, and they stated that it was a connection error on their end. I then paid with the physical version of the card, and the lady proceeded to take my card into the back without my permission, and I couldn't see what they were doing with my card. I then asked why they had taken my card to the back, but my cellphone was okay for the Apple Pay method, and couldn't the handheld POS system take the card also? My question was ignored, and then they apologized for the wait. I said the transaction had taken approximately over 30 minutes for one item. I would never shop here again; I would avoid this location and brand store for my entire lifetime. What a horrible...
Read moreVery hip and stylish multi-brand store. Love their Kith store-in-store and sneaker collections. However, their security is extremely intrusive to the point it makes browsing uncomfortable. The vibe and energy of the staff are unhelpful and suspicious. Perhaps they encounter many shoplifters given the coolness of their products? But it just means that the browsing experience is quite intimidating. If I wanted something, and I didn’t have time to visit the Manhattan store, I’ll reluctantly walk in here and head straight to the item I need. I wouldn’t linger and browse like I would at other stores. The shopping atmosphere is just deeply uncomfortable. Frankly I feel much better treated in Manhattan’s LV or Cartier store. They are also snotty high end luxury stores but manages to pull off a level of service and hospitality that Hirshleifers is...
