Had a wonderful experience at David Yurman with a brand ambassador, Carolyn M. She was professional, personable, and gave a great jewelry presentation. My husband and I walked in for earrings, of course walked out with more than just that. Dressed very casual. After talking to Carolyn, she had an idea of what I may like, showed me a few pairs of earrings and set it on the velvet tray to try on. Tried on the earrings and the two that I liked the most she left on the velvet tray and we kept looking. Carolyn put down the velvet tray on the ambassador's table behind the counter to find something for my husband. (The tray with the earrings I chose) After finding something for my him she went back to get the tray and noticed earrings missing from the velvet tray. Carolyn asked the other ambassador's nearby what happened to the earrings. She found it was Dakota, it seemed like she was quick to make an assumption and put away our jewelry. I ask Carolyn why did she put our stuff away? Carolyn said, it's right over there I can get it, and got it quick. I looked at Dakota and told her, You shouldn't be so judgemental. She said, I dont think you're stealing! I said, I never said that! My husband and I bought 5 pieces of jewelry from Carolyn who is fantastic! Reserved earrings for pick up for Mother’s Day and when I arrived to the store I was told they did not have item in stock and would have to order and ship it the following day. This was two days before Mother’s Day so, regardless of being annoyed this was a viable option. I was asked to wait for someone to reach me, notifying me items available for pick up. That call never came... I called 10 times through out the day just to be given the run around and even had the same women I spoke with 10 min prior on the phone act as if she could not hear me. Terrible acting skills and even worst costumer service. 30 min before closing I finally received the earrings. I love Yurman and will continue supporting them but will not be returning to...
   Read moreHow do you have a customer try on wedding bands, get them all excited and happy, tell them 'that ring looks nice on you, you should definitely get it in a size 8!', have them sit down and register them to the system to discuss payment plan and you go tell them 'oh we dont have the size 8 and the company doesn't make them anymore!' So that what my fiance and I experienced today! A good sales representative or brand ambassador should know their inventory. We got so happy to finally find our dream ring to get married and got soooo disappointed because we wasted our time and got misleaded thinking that we would be getting the ring that we wanted.
