Excellent ! I worked with Erica at the Roslyn Shade Store, and she provided expert product knowledge as well as insight and consideration of all elements of my windows so I selected the perfect window treatment. Erica didn't simply ask if the windows are east or west facing. She asked me to consider the way the shades would hang and explained the differing features and availability of different fabrics. Erica considered the visual impact of the space between the individual shades along the line of windows, as well as the ability for multiple shades to protect the room from the afternoon sun as it hit the NW angle, while helping me design the best layout for the 5 in line windows. In addition to skilled staff, The Shade Store shop is perfectly set up to allow you to see the products. The ability to go to a shop and see how the product looks, what the light does with the fabric, how the fabric looks when covering a window vs. a small sample, and how the hardware sits when installed made the buying process so much less stressful. I left the shop confident that the shades and fabric I selected were the right selection for my windows. The shades arrived at my home on time and undamaged. The installers showed up on time and perfectly installed the shades which were cut to the proper size and in the right fabric. I got the motorized shades and I highly recommend that feature ! The timer option is fantastic - I set the shades to come down as the afternoon sun hits the window. It works without fail and saves me having to set a reminder to make sure I pull down the shades in the afternoon or before I leave the house in the morning. So, yes 5 stars !...

We had the most fantastic experience in shopping at The Shade Store. We switched to The Shade Store after getting window shades from Blinds.com, which are functional, but look cheap and the pull chord sticks. This was an entirely different experience. I called and got a sales representative, Angela Richards, on the phone. She was so caring and asked me all of the right questions. We did a video call so she could see the room layout and the window configuration. Then, she made an informed recommendation for roller shades. Angela continued to stay in touch throughout the order and installation process to make sure we were 100% happy. Honestly, I was blown away by how solicitous she was.

The installer came first to measure - very soon after our video call. I could tell he was meticulous. The order was ready so quickly-within about 2 weeks and the installer was excellent.
