So itâs the holidays and we are a new home owners and new parents this year, and obviously super excited to decorate our house. That being said I ordered my Christmas decorations this year from Amazon , pandemic and everything. Well one package had a lithium battery and needed to be signed for and no one was home so they left a card. My boyfriend called the number on the card and unfortunately that ups worker was unable or could not assist him. It was out of their hands. I understand that, my boyfriend did not and guess he said or implied that the ups worker was useless. The day goes by we donât think of it again til an friend of a friend messaged me says hey check out snap chat this is kind of crazy. And low and behold it was crazy unprofessional and scary on a level. After viewing saving the video we reached out to the store Monday and had that employee try to handle the situation when I asked to speak to a manger. This person is unprofessional possibly disturbed. I would not bring my business there god forbid you donât see eye to eye they will stalk your social media threaten they have your phone number and who else knows what information they could access when you entrust them with your packages and than may be in a mood to post those things publicly. So originally I shipped a package to a client and the client gave me an undeliverable address, UPS called me and said I needed to come in to change the address and couldnât do it over the phone. So I drive the 40 min over there and I had forgotten my wallet. They wouldnât let me change the address with out my ID (REMEMBER THIS)!! So I leave frustrated and head home to turn around in the morning and go back to the store. I tell the guy why Iâm there and he says rudely your package is at the place on brown st. So I head over there and they tell me no my package is at the drop off store on south side and give me the print out that clearly states it. So here I go no really frustrated back over to the other store hand them the paper and said nope itâs here and yâall best find it. They âlookedâ for 5 min and said no itâs not here. I then happen to notice 2 packages that looked oddly familiar on the counter and asked if those were mine and he said thereâs no way they are yours have a good day. I said oh no no someone needs to check them and kindly the one girl heard me and checked. Sure enough they were mine. He refused to help me further so she checked me out. They say oh just go to the Post office show them the code they'll abel it... Easy peasy.. until reality show you it's not going to be that easy. Only one package went to the post office the other they said it's Amazon go to The UPS store show them the codes they'll do everything for you. Well they actually did but it wasn't exactly their job to find how to get it out of my phone...YES I am of a certain age that I don't use that technology that often đ these three staff people in particular all got involved in between other customers to assist me in finding these ever so easy codes return bars all of those things they printed the labels for what I consider well worth the price. All with smiles laughs & never once did they make me feel stupid. I can't thank them enough. And thank you to this store owner/UPS for being smart enough to hire knowledgeable and personable staff.
