Kohl's used to be a decent store but they have definitely go e down hill since covid. The Olean Store in NY is TERRIBLE!!! I had forgotten to have the cashier ring up my coupon on over$500 order and the service desk young man had to MANUALLY RETURN EVERYTHING AND THEN RING IT BACK UP!!! It took him almost an hour to do it amd I'm disabled after having Cancer and it's really difficult to stand that long and I told them MULTIPLE TIMES I FELT LIKE IWAS GOING TO FALL BECAUSE MY LEGS ARE WEAK. 3 PEOPLE WETE STANDOMG THERE AND NOT 1 OFFERED ME A CHAIR TO SIT UNTIL ABOUT 45 MINUTES!!! THEN THE GUY GOT MY CARD FROZE BECAUSE OF DOING TOO MANY TRANSACTIONS WORHIN A SHORT TIME AND THEN I HE COULD NOT GIVE ME MY +$500 BACK BECAUSE MY CARD FROZE AND I HAD ALREADY PAID MY CARD OFF RIGHT AFTER CHARGING THE ORDER. IT TOOK OVER A MONTH TO GET MY MONEY BACK!!!! I HAVE HAD A KOHL'S CHARGE CARD SEVERAL YEARS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY CREDIT!!!] I TOLD THEM to CANCEL MY CARD BUT RHEY DIDN'T!! It’s about 184° in this place. I have never had such a horribly uncomfortable shopping experience. Nothing is below $25. The clearance is absolutely hideous. I came because my mom had a 40% off coupon when she uses her Kohl’s charge. I looked over the exclusions and did not see Nike as one of the brand exclusions. I spent an hour looking at the Nike clothing, anticipating using my coupon. Then we went to self check out, which is ridiculous for a retail store. The woman came and took the security tags off of my clothes anyways. We scan the coupon and the coupon doesn’t go through for the hoodies. I’m like I guess we’re removing these hoodies because I’m not paying $50 each for them, she’s like “Nike is always excluded.” And I’m like well then you should probably indicate that on your coupon. You all are BADLY in need of a phone option for calls about an Internet or Online Order! Duh, Delivery was not available for my order, maybe for any order, but I almost immediately got an email saying my order was ready for pickup. Since I apparently couldn't pick it up in store at the time I ordered, only a few hrs. before, I tried to respond to the email....which wasn't possible, somehow?!? Then I tried to call the store to talk to them and let them know I live out of town, and would they hold it for a few days? or How long? There was no phone option for calls about Online Orders, so dial 0 to talk to an associate....my call was transferred apparently around the store where no one picked up.
