READ After giving this review...they keep calling me..and now, they are leaving "fake" reviews on my business profile and social media platforms. I have reported you and will also report you to the BBB. Please stop harassing me!*
Extremely disappointed is an understatement. The entire process of ordering from Bayview was horrible. I am a florist in California and as a courtesy to our customers, we call out orders to other locations. Bayview seemed to have good reviews and happened to be our recipient's florist ...so we decided to use them. The lady who took my order was nice...but very distracted and not thorough. I had explained that I needed a receipt for bookkeeping and she assured me that I would receive it via text. After waiting for an hour, I called and requested the receipt again. She told me, "just a few minutes". Another hour went by and I still hadn't received my invoice. I called again...only to be met with the most condescending, rude, unapologetic lady. I had explained that I'd been waiting for an invoice for over two hours. She asked me the name on the order and what the email address was. I told her the gal who took my order never asked me for my email address. She had the audacity to respond so incredibly rudely with, "Well how are we supposed to get you the invoice?" I told her the gal was going to text it. She was so agitated, saying "I can't get it to you without an email". And "we don't text". She basically gave me every excuse she could, not once admitting a mistake on their part. She just kept arguing with me. I was shocked. And to make it all worse...not once did she apologize for the confusion....I DID! I apologized to her for getting frustrated.
With this said....I was worried about how the arrangement would turn out. I received a picture from my client, not too impressed. We spent $100 just on flowers and received an arrangement I could have had Safeway deliver. AND, there was no card message. I called today to inform them there was NO CARD! A gentleman answered the phone and I let him know why I was calling, he just placed me on hold without any type of acknowledgement. I'm almost positive the same lady I had spoken to before picked up the line... because once again I was met with a rude, condescending, unapologetic employee. She spoke to me as if I was wasting her time ... basically telling me my client was wrong. She said there HAD to be a card because the delivery address is on it ...I explained that there was no message. At all. After my dealing with how rude she was to me before....there was no way I was going to allow her speak to me the was she did. So, I ended up hanging up on her. (I received 3 calls from them after I hung up) I am so beyond appalled and disgusted the way Bayview treats their customers! And would be mortified knowing my employees acted the way she did. If she is the owner...then shame on her.
Overall experience....I would give a 0 if possible.
I will be notifying my client that we will never use Bayview again and recommend that her friend also find another florist that has respect and patience for their customers.
To be clear....I do understand as a business owner, mistakes happen. This review has nothing do with the mistake... it's the lack of customer service. Regardless of the mistake...I was not treated like a valued customer. There's no excuse for being rude to your customers.
(The arrangement shown is a $100...
Read moreI went to bay view florist today, the day before Valentine’s Day. Before I begin please know i am aware of the amount of volume the store has on this day. When I went I asked for two boquets and I was told I would have to come back three hours later. To me that was fine but also puzzling considering there were people ahead of me ordering and waiting for the bouquets on the spot. So I ordered two bouquets totaling $195 and was told to come back at 6pm. I come back at 6pm and the staff was puzzled to where my order was. To my dismay my order for my wife and mother were rushed and put together. Not only as a customer did I feel like my business was not wanted because of the amount of volume but the quality of the product which had amazing reviews in my opinion was truly poor. I expected a much better quality especially with 3 hours to put them together, instead I got them rushed and not what asked for. 200 dollars of disappointment. Money it fortunately not the issue but it is the quay which was. Also they rushed so much they did not provide any flower food.
On February 14th an employee called me concerned about my review. However, it was the worst customer service. She verbally attacked me and was defensive and she asked what I did for a living. She went on to say that she would come to my place of business and leave a terrible google review. She also explained I was given more for my money that I paid for and asked why I did not say anything at the time of purchase. Well in part the environment in the store did not make it seem like my input or business was wanted. The conversation went on to ask if I was a bay view customer. I explained I wa a first time customer and came because of the wonderful reviews, the conversation then ended abruptly and rude. However, I would have pulled my review down if there was any sense of compassion to assist in the problems I expressed or even have been listened to. I hope this is not the experience for anyone else in the future as I know my review will not damage...
Read moreI WAS a customer since back when he was on Merrick Rd. I LOVE the young ladies that work there, they are sweet and very helpful. The arrangements and quality is amazing. BUT, yes there is the hinted to BUT coming, during the pandemic, when life was changed dramatically and was at a standstill, some businesses, such as Bayview, were open, limited - curbside, but still operational. My 7yr old's birthday was May 23rd and all things considered I wanted to give him the best party I could under the circumstances. I ordered Roblox themed party supplies, including 10 latex balloons for him to wake up to. Problem was that Party City and most any place to get balloons filled were not operational. So I figured I'd call Bayview Florist, considering they have helium for the balloons they use. I'm a regular, order at LEAST 4 or 5 times a year, going back over a decade. I live literally around the block. And most importantly it was for a child, who already had graduation and the ilk, taken from him. I was willing to pay what they asked. But I didn't expect this - "it will be $5 per balloon, so that wil be $50. Plus the owner said you have to buy an arrangement too, for at least another $50." I was in shock, I thought it was a joke. To cut it short, I went down to, lol Bayview Cards on Merrick Rd, and he had everything you could imagine for a party. It wasn't Party City, but at least Party County. Anyway, he charged me $5 TOTAL to fill up the 10 balloons, with no additional purchase required. Though I bought a bunch of much needed party supplies. Needless to say, I will NEVER again go to Bayview Florists, the owner is a greedy selfish POS and should be ashamed of himself! Your greed cost you my business, which was way more then the $100 you tried to squeeze from me to blow up 10 latex balloons. Heck, most my orders were between $70-$150, and I ordered half a dozen times a year. Key words...
