LaserAway Woodbury — Local services in Town of Oyster Bay

I’m writing this after months of trying to get someone from LaserAway to take accountability for a terrible experience. I completed all of my laser hair removal treatments and after finishing every single session as recommended, I’ve only seen about 20 to 25 percent reduction in hair growth which is completely unacceptable for the cost and promises made.

What’s worse than the poor results is the unprofessional and disrespectful way the management handled my concerns. I reached out several times to the regional director for the Long Island locations, Ashley, and not only did I receive no meaningful response, but the tone and dismissiveness I did encounter were completely inappropriate for a company of this size. There was no effort to resolve my concerns, no offer to review my case, and no customer care whatsoever.

LaserAway sells a premium service at a premium price, but their results and customer service are anything but premium. Once they have your money, you’re on your own. I strongly urge anyone considering them to stay far away. There are far better providers who stand behind their results and treat customers with respect.

Avoid LaserAway. Don’t waste your money...

The customer service here is amazing, not sure what these other reviews are talking about because from the minute I was interested in cool sculpting, to MONTHS after I got it done, they consistently check in on me.

Not to mention during the actual procedure was the nurses and doctors very accommodating and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They walked me through the whole thing and answered all my questions and really made me feel calm and confident about the procedure.

Yes, the procedures are very expensive but I guess that's the price you pay for cool sculpting, because everywhere else was around the same price. I got 2 cool sculpting treatments done and the picture attached are my results 6 weeks after getting it done, there are clear results that I was very happy with. I was encouraged to get 1 more session done to target any fat cells left and I obliged because of the results from the first time, 12 weeks after, my second procedure I'm not sure if I see any noticeable difference and am a little disappointed but if that's all the fat they can remove then what else can I do, no big deal!

Lisa was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every step of the process and answer all of my questions. Scheduling was super easy, and they were very accommodating with my availability. They also had a special going on at the time, so I felt like it was a good deal.

The treatment itself was quick, efficient, and far less intimidating than I expected.
