This was a great brunch place!! We were seated right away on a Saturday at noon. But they can get up to a 1 hour wait or more. Our server was fantastic. The menus are so cute and they have a seasonal menu as well. We got the French toast latte and it was delicious, without being overpowering with cinnamon. We got the peach ricotta honey toast as an appetizer to share. I liked it but it was March 1 and there are no peaches in season, therefore it was "grilled" canned peaches. I personally think they should take that off the menu until July/August when there are peaches in season. It also needed more honey. We then ordered two items off the special menu: berry peanut butter French toast and the banana pancakes. The French toast was nicely cooked and I liked the addition of peanut butter. The bread was supposed to be brioche but it seemed more of the texture like a croissant. It comes with 2 square slices and it was Sooo good. The banana pancakes also had coconut and granola in the pancake. They used slices of banana on the bottom of the pancake, so the bites that you didn't get a slice were dry. But the bites you did get a slice were great!! I would recommend either dispersing the banana equally or smashing it up and putting it in the batter. The flavor was Sooo good, though!
They also have the option to pay using the app called "in kind" and it gives you $ back. Overall, I will be back to try more things...
Read moreThis is my first review, since I don't usually write them, but this time I felt compelled. The hostess gave us a warm welcome. For no apparent reason, the manager directed her not to speak to me when I wanted to ask her a simple question. Very impolite. The management has to improve. Hostess wasn't busy; therefore, there was no reason for the manager to be rude. ( hostess apologized on her behalf )
The waitlist is inaccurate, and we witnessed a server ask the manager a question, to which she rolled her eyes and dismissed her in front of everyone, despite the hostess's and servers best efforts, confusion and annoyance resulted from the waitlist's inaccurate information. There was a 20-minute waitlist on our phone, but there was a 45-minute to 1-hour wait after checking in.
Tables were packed too closely together, and people were crammed on top of one another. The meal was decent; we had the honey hot chicken sandwich and sweet potato pancakes. We would go back if the service problems are fixed. ( the only reason for the extra stars is the kind staff that were trying ) especially our Sever Marie she was nice. This business will fail unless the manager lightens up and hires more hostesses/servers. We could also hear her shouting at her employees. I feel horrible about saying this but unfortunately, I don't see this business surviving. There are better alternatives available. Not...
Read moreThe food was great but service was not as impressive as our meal. As soon as our server came to our table we weren’t even greeted with her name. My friend asked how big their large coffee is and the server did not answer but instead put in the large coffee as her order. Along with this, she asked for an over hard egg (fried) to only then receive an over easy egg. We were not checked on by our server once throughout the meal but we were checked on by the hostess and busser, and took over 20 minutes (plates cleared). We sat at our table for about another 20 minutes after plates were cleared and patiently waited for our check, closing work was in progress as our server continued to make eye contact with us and proceeded to do her closing work and not close our tab. we had to ask a busser for our server to pay and instead another server closed our tab for us. We felt as if she was trying...
