Terrible experience. It started great in June when my now husband proposed with a beautiful ring. He had bought a wedding band that was the same design. Had zero problems. Until when we got married in August. I was married on a Sunday and by Thursday a diamond came out of my wedding band. I don't wear it to work, sleep, shower, wash my hands or dishes, workout. So i hadn't worn it four full days. The woman at the store was so unapologetic. She accused me multiple times of banging it against something. How hard would I have to bang a thousand dollar ring for it to break? I have a David Yurman ring with diamonds I wore while training for collegiate athletics. Never once did that break. How cheap is this ring for it to break so easily. I pay to fix it and get it back Friday evening. I don't wear it Saturday because I have work. By Sunday afternoon another diamond came out. I brought it back in and the same woman was even ruder. My engagement ring is the same band and I asked why only this ring was breaking? She accused me multiple times, again, of banging into something. She never once apologized. It was so rude and insensitive. Some of the worst service I have ever received after spending thousands of dollars on a product. When I picked up my ring again she said "As long as you don't bang it into something you'll be fine". I just took my ring and walked out. What a shame for a business to treat its customers this way. I have been married three weeks and have only been able to wear my ring for 5 days total. All I want is to wear my wedding band, and I am not able to so. These rings will be the first and last things I ever buy from this place. Next time it breaks I will gladly pay another jeweler to fix it. Adding to this review since my engagement ring is now chipping. I wear this ring maybe twice a week and the gold is chipping off the band. I am now going to another jeweler to take all the stones out and get all new rings. Me and my husband saved for a while to afford my current rings and it is so upsetting that they ended up being such poor quality. When you spend thousands of dollars on a product you expect it to last a lifetime. I guess expecting my wedding ring to last a lifetime and to be treated kindly by the staff was too much to ask for. This place will never receive my business again. I am now left to pay more money to another jeweler to fix Maddy Fine Jewelers mistakes. At least I know they will finally be quality. Adding pictures now to prove I am a paying customer who is unbelievably upset they have to spend thousands more to fix her rings. Check your records. My ring broke twice and you fixed it. I first came to Maddy Fine Jewelry because I wanted to sell my father’s gold when he passed away and Manny and Eleanor were so helpful and kind. I not only love their jewelry but what they were able to do with my existing jewelry. I gave them one of my mother’s diamond necklaces and they made 3 separate necklaces for me and my sisters. They came out so beautiful.I got a new setting for my ring with the guidance of Manny who knew exactly what would enhance the look in a more contemporary style.
