Disappointed! I used my "Stop and Shop go pass “ yesterday as I normally do every week. The scan gun was not working properly and I was unable to delete items from my cart. Reluctantly I purchased the items because I simply did not have time to go to customer service to have them removed. Upon checking out…. My scanner wound not allow me to do so. The computer said. HELP NEEDED. HELP NEEDED……….I was then approached by a customer service representative who ran up to my check out lane. He then sad I have to check out something!!!!!!!! and took the scanner to the back office. When he arrived he began counting my items. I asked if there was a problem? He said "It was a random check”. I asked again what was wrong ? He said he just had to look at my items again! I had never seen anyone else in the store targeted for random checks. At that moment another older man posing as a shopper( Loss prevention officer) began looking into my bags! He too said it was a random check! I told both men to take everything out of my bag and count everything. I told them they were free to look at everything and all items in my bag were accounted for! I then asked them if they thought I was trying to steel????I was humiliated and embarrassed! I hope I was not targeted because of my race. I hate when people use race as an excuse but how else can a customer feel! They then saw that all items were actually accounted for and it was cleared on there computer. There was no apology and when I called to speak to the manager later that evening I was told he was not around. I asked for his email and was given a generic email for Stop and Shop. I will never shop at this location ever again. It was a humiliating and I was degraded in front of other customers. I am a law abiding legal citizen who pays taxes and abides by the law! Shame on Stop and Shop. Look at the video again . You should be ashamed of yourselves and your loss...

I have tried the gamet of stores including other stop and shops, shop , Whole Foods, target, Trader Joe’s, and uncle Giuseppe’s. No one had the horizon growing years milk- considering this is the main stay in there diet and we go through a quart of milk daily thins was a huge problem. All the associates I interacted with had the same non chlant response of sorry better luck next time. Finally my search took me to the Woodbury stop and shop. Chris Langdale helped me with a smile and even though his store also didn’t have it he helped me navigate getting it ordered and in two days we had what we needed! Read moreI was there shopping and was being treated poorly by a worker named , Aisa. While I was shopping, I went to the customer services to get lottery tickets. Even though Aisa clearly saw me, she just continued and walked away, completely ignoring me. I asked her, “Is anyone here?”, and she responded in a very rude expression while she is supposed to help me. She made it seem like I was doing something wrong, meanwhile I was simply asking for lotto tickets. I asked her again, “Can anybody help me?”, and after that she asked me, “Do you want to lottery tickets?”, and she just threw them on the counter and left. She was extremely rude to me.
