Krinti Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I met a friend at Krinti for lunch today. Before arriving I checked the website for the menu and prices. On their website they had a gyro lunch special for $15 so I knew it was affordable. When we arrived there was no lunch special. I inquired about the lunch special on their website and was told it was take-out only. Oops! I ordered the lamb gyro for $26+. It came with lamb, pita bread, rice, a few peas and sauce. I asked for some tomatoes/lettuce/onions to complete the sandwich-not possible without ordering a salad for $16+. The food was adequate, not unlike the hundreds of gyros I have eaten in many greek restaurants and diners.But not worth the price for lunch.The service was horrendous. All in all, if you don't mind being grossly overcharged for lunch, go for it. My girlfriend and I were in a rush as we were on our way to see Whitney Cummings at the Paramount about 15 minutes away. We were coming from NJ and were super hungry. We didn't have a reservation and we let the staff know if we could be in and out in 30 minutes and they definitely made sure to accommodate us 100% We got our orders in, in about 2 minutes and the appetizer came about 2-3 minutes later. And our meals came about 10 minutes later. We were in and out in just about 27 Minutes! They were so kind and helpful and the food was amazing!

My girlfriend and I both love Turkish food and we've been disappointed with the last few Turkish restaurants we've been to. We had a very nice one near us when we lived in Brooklyn. This is the first great Turkish restaurant we've eaten at in almost 2 years.

We came for dinner after a family wedding. We were a group of 15. We picked this place bases on prior visit and service. We had everything under the sun, the hummus, the sampler, the kebab mix, the lemon potatoes, fries, fried calamari, kofte, the stuffed cigars, fresh hot pita, turkish liqueur, pinot grigio, pinot noir, grilled vegetables platter, rice, peas, lamb chops, and greek salad. If i missed anything forgive me. The experience was excellent, the service was on point, friendly, professional and pleasant. The manager was great, made the event even greater by entertaining us.
