Supporting small businesses is a wonderful way to boost local community so when my high school senior told me she planned to visit and make a purchase instead of buying online it made me happy. Another reason for wanting to support local businesses is the customer service one typically receives. However, sadly, it seems the people who run this place can't even spell customer service. The very first thing that struck my eye on the T-shirt my daughter bought from here was the placement of the school name. It was too high up on the shirt, just inches from the neckline, and it spanned the entire width, seam to seam, so that when she put it on, the name of the school was cut off by her arms. The full name of the school was illegible while she was wearing it. Fully aware these are custom printed items, I decided to return to the store and request the shirt be reprinted. As far as I could tell, this was their mistake. Before you think, why didn't the daughter go back, the answer is, she was at work and after all this no name T-shirt cost my teenager $40! That's more than 2 hours worth of work for her. I wanted to help her get resolution sooner rather than later. The woman at the counter was almost immediately dismissive of my complaint putting the blame on my teen, stating that the shirt she chose was too small. When I asked why they wouldn't have warned her of that BEFORE hand, she went on to say that they advise customers to try on before buying. This makes sense until you consider the fact that you're trying on a blank item prior to the transfer going on. The likelihood of a teen catching that detail is slim at best. I also pointed out that the display of the same shirt on the mannequin clearly shows the entire name so looking at that as an example, which is what my kid did, one would expect a similar result for their purchase. She went on to say they employ an experienced staff to which I scoffed. If they're so experienced why wasn't she warned? Simply put, THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE or GOOD BUSINESS. Looking around the store while waiting in line, I quickly eyed up at least $500+ worth of items I considered purchasing for her bed party & graduation gifts from myself & family members. Not so smart if you ask me. I would have picked taking a loss on a $40 item to take in revenue worth at least 10x that. Their loss, there are 5 more soon to be HS graduates in my family. Think of all the merch I might have bought. But seriously, spend your hard earned cash elsewhere. This place doesn't even carry quality brands like other places. I didn't see one Champion, Nike or even Gildan label on anything. Looks like they're buying cheaply made imported items and sticking a transfer on it. And even that they...
Read moreMeh… this is your average trendy store for teen girls but it’s a total ripoff. To start off, everything is completely overpriced- from a t shirt with a piece of fabric sewn onto it with a school logo, about $50. It’s really ridiculous. Today, I went in, bought a plain tank top for $29.99. The girl charged me $9.99 to iron on a literal PATCH onto the shirt (the girl that helped me was very sweet but many stuck up, snobby teenagers working there as well). I wanted diamonds on the neckline like they had on the display (PS. I also had no choice but to have them custom make this for me because they seem to only cater to big, well known schools), the girl then changed me $15.99 to do that. All together, I payed $57 for one small tank top. Save your money and go elsewhere, unless you can afford to spend ridiculous money. Oh and maybe stop only making bling crewnecks and shirts for schools like Syracuse and UMiami, not all of us go to big schools and everyone deserves something special. If you guys were more inclusive, I probably wouldn’t have paid that much if it was already on...
Read moreI had placed a custom order and went to go pick it up. I was told it was not ready and I had to wait over an hour for someone to come in and do it. I expressed that I live far away and could not wait that long when it was already supposed to be ready. This older lady who works there gave me the biggest attitude and said "I'll do it but I don't know how good it will be" she messed up the shirt that they had custom ordered for me in the last color they had. She basically told me well you should of waited and didn't even apologize. I had custom ordered the shirt weeks in advance and went the day before a party where I was bringing this custom shirt. She was so nasty and so unapologetic. She was yelling at me in a store full of people, and when I went back at her she said "how would your mother feel if you spoke like this to me" "I'm 50 don't talk to me the way you speak to your girlfriends" this 50 year old women yelling at a child because I was upset about a shirt SHE MESSED UP. It was unbelievable me or any of my friends will definitely not...
