Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Town of Dunkirk

If I could give zero stars I would. Good morning. This is a concern/complaint about your Dunkirk, New York location. The address is 10517 Bennett Rd, Dunkirk, NY 14048, United States. We visited this location on Saturday, August 19th at around 3:45pm. This restaurant is a MESS. It took 10 minutes for someone to take our order (we were first in line). The receipt machine was not working and no one got a receipt or knew their order numbers. The staff was slow. There were 7 employees present at the time and all but one was walking around laughing and cavorting and NOT working. These were all young men who were more interested in talking and eating candy than working. I literally watched a staff member pop candy into their mouth and then go to the food prep line. It took another 15 minutes to get our order. The staff repeatedly came to the front and announced the order number to guests how had NO idea what their order number was due to not receiving receipts. This lead to further delay as the staff didn't seem to be able to tell guests what food items were in that order number. The front of house was disgusting. There wasn't a single clean table and the garbage was overflowing. Eventually, after waiting a very long time and watching how our food was being made we decided we didn't want to eat there and felt that food safety didn't seem to be important to the staff. We asked for a refund and were told, "we don't do refunds". After we complained about the dining room being dirty a staff member came out and changed the garbage. The entire time he was on his phone talking about getting beer for his night out. The hot sauces were nearly empty and there was only one kind available. Other guests were getting upset and complaining about the chaos and long waits. This location needs some serious management. The staff have no direction and don't seem to know how to problem-solve or do their jobs. If the health department showed up you would have issues with unsanitary conditions and staff not washing hands and eating on the food prep line. We would like a refund of our purchase. Of course, we have NO receipt because they couldn't give us one. We ordered a #3 Taco Bell combo and a Nacho Bell Grande. I would like a reply to...

This is not a good taco bell by any means.I Waited more than 30 minutes for my food. Got my cups when i ordered only to find the entire drink machine was broken. What was strange however was that the few people who ordered before me appearently already reported to the employees that the machine was broken and they still handed me my cup anyways? When the nice girl who worked in the front saw that i had my cup with no drink, she went in the back out of her way to use the employee machine. But i didnt realize until i got in my car and drove away that the soda i was given was translucent and basically had no syrup. Spent 3 dollars on basically bad tasting a seltzer and to add the icing on the cake they didnt remove the ingredients in my food that i requested and so i didnt enjoy my food. I worked in fast food for many years so i understand how hard it is to be a fast food worker. I just believe that this place can be run a little bit better. The young employees in the front seemed incredibly stressed and i dont blame them. it was pure chaos for not that many people inside of the store. My experience at this Taco Bell location was disappointing. The spicy potato taco I ordered was far from appetizing. Not only was it stale, but the potatoes were undercooked, making for an unpleasant texture. The accompanying chips were also a letdown, as they had a strange odor of oil, prompting me to discard both items. Freshness should be a basic expectation for any food establishment, and Taco Bell failed to deliver on this front.

To add insult to injury, the service was incredibly slow. Despite there being only five staff members and minimal customer traffic, it took a whopping 20 minutes to prepare a simple spicy taco with chips and cheese. This unacceptable wait time left me frustrated and questioning the efficiency of the staff and management.

Overall, my visit to this particular Taco Bell location was nothing short of a disappointment. I would strongly advise against patronizing this establishment, as the subpar food quality and sluggish service are not worth the time or money.
