The customer service at this Popeyes location is absolutely atrocious. ever since they opened, I have visited this Popeyes quite frequently and spent a lot of money here. I absolutely love the rice and beans and their mac & cheese and lately It’s all I can eat because I had dental surgery so I’ve been frequently at Popeyes on a regular basis.
tonight all I wanted was rice and beans and mac & cheese for my dinner. I came at a little after 10:00 PM on a Sunday and according to their hours online, they are open till 12 AM. After getting to the window, the employee at the window told me they were out of mac & cheese and I said OK no problem. I’ll just get a refund. Another guy comes to the window and tries to get me to get something else. I said I don’t really want anything else. All I wanted was mac & cheese and rice and beans. He then proceeds to still push me to get something else I said can I just please have a refund. He then said to my face I can just give you something else because a refund is too much of a bother to me. This is when I lost it that is horrible customer service and I told him that to his face and said I guess it is just too much of a bother to me for me to ever come back to your restaurant. He still refused to give me a refund for the mac & cheese and showed no remorse whatsoever for the way he treated me . At that point I was just done and told him to refund the whole thing that I don’t want his food. He proceeded to still give me attitude, but finally agreed that he would give me a refund and then told me to pull to the next window when there were no cars behind me.
I am absolutely disgusted by this lack of halfway decent customer service at this location and the level of rudeness from their employees. this makes me not want to go back there at all. there have been many times that I have gone here and the customer service is just awful and the communication is horrible. Brennen couldn't figure out what I was trying to order which was right on the menu, said to coworker, "you better take this order, before I get angry." It's right on your menu, you should know if taking orders. Another guy steps and he got my order wrong too didn't realize until after I had my receipt. Ordered 12 piece tender family bundle with two large sides and 6 biscuits. Got receipt, was for 8 pcs and large Mac n cheese was added as extra side and with only 4 biscuits. I didn't realize at first because was basically the same price for less food. Stood in there an hour and a half waiting. Two young ladies one with a small child who ordered before me were waiting that long also. One got their food but had to come back to counter because it was wrong. Multiple ppl got wrong food or were missing something in my 1.5 hrs of witness. It was very chaotic. Three guys standing up front doing basically nothing. Multiple managers/ppl coming out taking ppls receipts and getting ppls orders that were way after ours. They're yelling out numbers that no one is picking up. Why wouldn't you just make the food in the the order it was ordered?! Finally got food and it was completely wrong. Son wouldn't eat it. Wasn't going back though. I understand it is newly opened and crazy packed and busy, but that was a bit ridiculous even for the situation. Very disappointed...getting the completely wrong order that was way less than I paid for after waiting so long, not happy. Read moreHonestly, if it weren’t for the hard working lower level staff members, this would be 1 star. My fiancé and I have been there twice. The first time, they put wings in sideways and the sauce covered everything in the bag. No biggie, accidents happen.
The second time. The second time I placed a mobile order for pickup, and my fiancé went to pick it up. When he asks for it they gave it to the wrong person, again no biggie accidents happen. He goes inside to get it remade and THE MANAGER starts yelling at the employee for her amazing display of customer service in putting a new ticket in and INSISTS my fiancé pays for the food AGAIN. The manager told him he had to and eventually walked away when he said he’s not paying for food again because he didn’t get it in the first place. A young man stepped in and offered to help and was extremely helpful. It was remade but as my fiancé was waiting he witnessed the manager SNAPPING HIS FINGERS at the girl who was putting the remake in.
I love the food. I HATE the display of management that was witnessed this evening. The “lower level” employees know more about customer service than your managers do and i’m disgusted. Thank you to the two employees who helped my fiance and made things right.
