Sierra — Local services in Town of Poughkeepsie

The store itself is amazing. The employees are professional and polite, but just be careful returning an item. I returned items on 10/29 and have yet to receive my refund. I’ve been given the runaround from customer service and I’m always told that it will take 5-7 days, but it’s been a month now! I called customer service this morning and they tell me that they found the issue and I will receive my refund in, you guessed it 5-7 days. There has to be a sense of urgency in ensuring that things are done right. I shouldn’t have to call 2 x a week and visit the store on three occasions and still nothing....

Everyone kept telling me to check this location out. I thought it was a camping or outdoor supply store. But, I would say it’s more of a Marshall/TJMax/Burlington coat type shop. Some tents and camping supplies that you won’t find in regular retail shops and lots of clothing at discounted prices. My teen son and gf shop here. I’ve been stopping in here since opening. That staff as always been friendly, but the newest manager Andrew takes it to the next level. He makes you feel like you’ve walked into a family owned ma and pa. He greets his guest like they’ve been waiting for your arrival. LOVE THIS idea of community business.
