Gila helped me with selecting paint colors for my home. I repainted the majority of the house including kitchen, living and dining room, bathrooms and master bedroom. She came to my home and we spent time talking so she got to know my taste, style and vision of what I wanted to achieve. She brought with her and showed me swatches and was able to read my reaction to colors that allowed her to guide me. She ordered swatches that were then mailed directly to my house so I had the opportunity to view samples at different times of day as lighting changed. It gave me the time to see how my mood reacted to different colors and with various shades of the same color family, thus making choices I loved the most. I am beyond thrilled with my color choices. I feel warm, cozy and peaceful in my home which is what I was looking for. Gila was very patient and supportive. She was available by phone when I wanted to ask a question or if I had any concerns. She checked in with me once the swatches arrived and called to continue guiding me as I narrowed down my decisions I highly recommend Gila when you paint your home with helping make color choices. When my wife and I decided to redo the formal dining room, we wanted to go bolder but were not sure what colors to use or at what point it would be too much. For the record, we have done a fair amount of decorating and painting over the years but felt expert advice would be welcome, both to get new ideas and to be able to bounce some of our own.

Working with Gila was a pleasure as she listened carefully to our concerns and was able to come up with a recommendation that incorporated our wishes rather than offering a solution based on her personal style or preference. I am not sure we would have chosen the final colors on our own, but it came out better than expected and we were extremely happy with the results.

Gila is a color angel sent down from the heavens to help this desperate, indecisive girl discover the perfect colors to transform her family's home. I called her after spending weeks narrowing down colors, going to get the samples, putting them on the wall and hating every single one. I was desperate. The painter was coming the following week to paint most of the rooms in my house and I didn't have a single color I liked. I called Gila desperate for help, and my God, did she help. She was a dream come true. A true delight to work with- we walked around the house, chatted, and from that she was able to extract my tastes and preferences (some of which I didnt know I had) and suggested colors that really sang out to me. I was excited, she was excited- it was truly fun! The end result is incredible. The colors she worked with me to pick are perfection. My house looks like new and feels like mine.
