Changes — Local services in Town of Rhinebeck

While I was dining next door with my 2 small boys, ages 2 and 4, the owner of this establishment came outside to scold my boys completely unnecessarily for touching a plant that apparently belonged to him. I turned around for about 10 seconds to sign the bill as we were leaving and my sons were looking at the plants surrounding us. They did absolutely no damage whatsoever. It is beyond me why someone would go so out of their way to be so hostile and mean to a mother alone with her young children who did absolutely nothing wrong. If this is the kind of person you would like to support, who treats the community in this way, then shop at this establishment. I will not be...

My husband tried to purchase a shirt from this store yesterday. When the salesperson called today to let him know it was not in, she left him a voice message and told him his phone message was "obnoxious". How dare she judge his message, which means a lot to him, and is just related to baseball? There is nothing "obnoxious" about his message. I guess this is how they treat new customers. He said he felt uncomfortable when shopping in the store and not welcome when he went in, and this just solidified his feeling. We cannot recommend this store. Beware. Did a last minute run-through for an outfit with my partner before jumping on a plane for a European work trip. It took ~15 minutes (including try-on), and he looked great. He was getting compliments all week.
