We visit Rhinebeck at least twice a year and spend a few days at the Beekman Arms. One of my favorite things to do is go to Paper Trail. I have bought many items there which I love. I went in this week and did not have a good experience. I walked in, checked some handbags, walked all around the jewelry counters, looked at some scarves and never was acknowledged. I always find that little something with a special touch. I have had repeated success finding gifts for my wife and daughter and the staff has been spot on with a difficult choice. Paper Trail always has a great selection of house gifts to take with us when we go to visit friends. Be it games, puzzles, or even a good book their range of choices is great. That being said… the prices are very high. I’ve never actually bought anything here because it feels almost ridiculously expensive for what you’re getting.
