Paper Trail — Local services in Town of Rhinebeck

We visit Rhinebeck at least twice a year and spend a few days at the Beekman Arms. One of my favorite things to do is go to Paper Trail. I have bought many items there which I love. I went in this week and did not have a good experience. I walked in, checked some handbags, walked all around the jewelry counters, looked at some scarves and never was acknowledged. There were three women working and talking toward the middle of the store. I finally walked up to one and said "hello" and she looked at me and finally said "hi". That was it!!! I have shopped at Paper Trail for years and felt the need to review this small town gem. They are my go to store for birthdays, holidays & special occasions. I always find that little something with a special touch. I have had repeated success finding gifts for my wife and daughter and the staff has been spot on with a difficult choice. Paper Trail always has a great selection of house gifts to take with us when we go to visit friends. Be it games, puzzles, or even a good book their range of choices is great. The Paper Trail Store is SO cute inside, the colors, displays, etc make it a really fun place to wander. I always pop in for the vibes, andit’s visually delightful. That being said… the prices are very high. I’ve never actually bought anything here because it feels almost ridiculously expensive for what you’re getting. It’s the kind of place you can enjoy browsing if you’re just looking for inspiration or a quick aesthetic hit (or if you’re rich!!) but if you actually want to shop affordably, be prepared to drop way more than you probably expected.
