4th World Comics — Local services in Town of Smithtown

Easily the best comic shop on all of Long Island. This shop offers the broadest selection of comics I've seen past the big two (DC and Marvel). )I personally read alot of independent comics and this shop has such a large selection of not only the newest and hottest titles, but the smaller startups as well. They have an entire wall dedicated to independents that is easy to navigate and see if anything strikes your interest. The stores selection of trades, hardcovers, manga, and even artist collections is unmatched by any other location. And that's all just the book side of the store. They also carry collectables ranging from funko to sideshow and star wars to batman the animated series. A whole wall of collectable card games, sports memorabilia, horror film collectables, and the list goes on and on.

Honestly if you yourself are a fan of anything pop culture related, or looking for a gift for someone who you know is, then this is the prime store for you to shop at. I visited this comics and game store which some friends had said was a good store. I walked and was on awe of the amount of cool and rare stuff they had displayed. I had a little trouble navigating the store but eventually found my way to the new comics. They have a premium selection of back issues, toys and collectibles. The store was empty at 5 pm on a Monday but had three staff on. I walked around for ten minutes and found some old Tmnt comics that were priced a bit higher then I think they're worth. I got two that I needed but spent 25 on them which was about ten higher than my usual store. However they have a huge back selection. I went to pay and they asked if I was a part of they're membership? I said no. They asked me to join or what it was. I found my experience here to be mostly pleasant and full of goodies. Today was my first visit to 4th world and was super impressed with all the stuff this store has to offer. I was in awe by the amount product they had in their independent books section. I knew if I kept looking around I was going to go broke in this store lol. Great atmosphere, I loved how staff interacted with the customers and that to me shows a lot of care and acknowledgement of who comes into the store. Very clean and organized. It is a big store with so much product that you have to circle around a couple times to make sure you don't miss something.
