Millennium Diner — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

HORRIBLE!! Four people... all meals were wrong. Not the first time the cooks here don't bother to read tickets. When having meals redone, just threw a piece of cheese on top of an omelet and brought the plate back the same so we had to fight to have it done correctly. Many other issues with the meals as well. When discussing with the owner, he couldn't have cared less. Do not go here. They run a business and do not care about the quality of food or how they treat people. I've already called my credit card company and will be getting my money back!!

LOL... exactly the response I expected from an owner who doesn't care about customer service! And you are mistaken, we were NOT there a week ago … so nice try! And Yes, ALL FOUR orders were wrong. It's a shame I exist?? It's a shame that, just like that night, you blame others, like you blamed the waitress and then tried to cover up incompetence. No worries, I got my money back and you'll never see us again!

In good faith? Are you kidding? They were WRONG!! What did you expect, for us to eat the wrong orders? OK, we can be done as we obviously disagree in how this was handled. This was never about the money but how it seemed you didn't care about us as customers. We'll find another...

I went to get a haircut nearby and decided to grab breakfast while waiting for my ride. The servers were friendly, but there was a small issue during the payment process. While I was in the restroom, I had left $30 for a $19 bill, but they didn’t bring me the change. Well, I didn’t strongly ask for it, so I guess that’s on me. I figured I’d let it slide.

I sat there for about an hour, eating and drinking coffee. When I was leaving, I noticed that the staff would greet other white customers politely as they left, but when I got up and said 'thank you,' I was completely ignored. They didn’t even look at me. It felt like I was invisible. The person at the counter completely ignored me.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting special treatment, I just wanted to be treated like a person. This experience was really disappointing and unpleasant. I’m not sure if this was because of racial bias or if they just didn’t care about me as a person. Either way, it completely ruined my mood. It feels like, to them, I’m not even worth acknowledging...

I've been coming to this dinner for years and today has been the worst experience I've ever had at a Dinner. We got there with my wife and two kids. The hostess gave us a table right away the place was empty just maybe two other tables waiting to get served. The people two tables over got served coffe like 10 minutes after we got there. I know the waiter saw us with our kids waiting. The hostess walked in two other parties in. I hate to say this but everyone else was Caucasian the two parties that walked in about 15 after us were asked for their drinks and we were completely ignored. I told my wife let's wait another 5 minutes and they never asked us. It seems that if you are Caucasian you can get served faster than anyone at this place and sadly to say even as we walked out the hostess all she said was bye. Didn't even notice we never got served. It is sadly to say that I will never walk in this place anymore and will never recommend going here unless you are white. Then...
