Visited last night, the first Friday you were open. My wife and I overall really enjoyed the new location. The staff was friendly, seemed knowledgeable of the menu even though you have not been open long, but some kind of designated hostess area would have been helpful. Everyone coming in seemed unsure of where to go or who to look to for direction, seemed like the wait staff was also your host staff, which was confusing. The food was very good and came out quickly and was also fairly priced. But it was hard to ignore feeling cramped with the layout of the dining area. People dining in are most likely spending more money with you and should not be seated up against the line of people waiting to place take away orders. There was no obvious division of space, between people at the bar and people at the counter I could barely hear my wife, we were literally bumping elbows with people on line. We also noticed people coming in for pickup were waiting on the same line, so they were waiting an extra 10/15 min to pick up something they ordered ahead for. We have visited some of the other locations and always enjoy the food, I hope you can sort out a better inside dining experience because I'm not sure I would want to again with the...
Read moreI do not normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my opinion on this pizza. I will preface this review by saying that I am a pizza snob and may hold quality to a higher standard. That being said, the regular pie that I received was anything other than substantial quality. I was shocked to find out that this is their seventh location, as I can tell for certain that the ingredients are not quality. I do not know what is going on with Long Island, but pizza places pop up and everyone accepts subpar quality as acceptable. To boil it down, the sauce is too sweet and the cheese is too salty. You can plainly tell that it is the same “off the truck” ingredients that supply every other half-baked pizzeria on Long Island. Not only this, but the true impetus for my review was to express how horrible the garlic knots are. Seriously, who cleared these internally? I have not, up until this point, had a garlic knot that was so namely inedible. It was like eating a ball of oil overly dressed in copious amounts of herbs. Anyway, the staff and atmosphere are nice. Any service is better than the jerk that owned Buona Sera. Work...
Read moreFirst time here. It was very busy around 7 on a Wednesday. A little confusing when entering as there are two areas of seating and had to find someone who could tell us where to go. Sat at the marble tabletops for waitress service, the other tables are for order yourself, stay or go as you like. I like the distinct areas and options. We were promptly given water and were greeted by Ally, our waitress, who made our experience even better all evening! Beer list was quite limited and we were hoping for more craft IPA choices, but Ally quickly pointed out the one IPA they did have so we were off to a good start. Ordered the Uncle Benny round pie with fresh mozzarella, cup pepperoni, crumbled sausage, hot honey, & basil and it was fantastic! I think we finally found our go to pizza place, yay! Can’t wait to have the leftovers we brought home. I will definitely go back and try other items we saw coming from the kitchen. All in all a very pleasant evening in a nice, upbeat, clean environment with very friendly, attentive waitress service. I highly recommend...
