Buona Sera — Restaurant in Town of Smithtown

Terrible customer service ordered a pizza and garlic knots when it got delivered it was freezing cold I only love two blocks away called to complain and I get laughed at by the employee and the manager biggest waste of 25$ plenty of better pizza places around I won’t be ordering from here again and after I called and complained that there wasn’t even sauce with my garlic knots that I paid extra for they said they would return with it 30 minutes later they call and say there outside with the sauce I told them forget it since I ate my meal already as terrible as it was and hang up go out side 30 mins later and the delivery driver opened my door and left the sauce in my newborns stroller by the door and leaked all over it I call and complain and some girl puts me on the phone with her “boss” who proceeds to tell me he dosnt believe me and I’m lying and then when I ask for his name since I was told he was just the manager says he’s the owner and his name is Julian and he owns the place and hangs up on me disgraceful service from a disgraceful staff I will be sending a complaint and pictures to the better business bureau not to mention I’m supposedly lying but have the whole thing recorded on my...

Went with a large group Saturday night and definitely won’t be back. First the service... the waiter skipped over me when it came to ordering drinks had to call him back 30 mins later (because he disappeared). It then took over an hour to get a refill after asking multiple people. It took well over an hour for them to even take our orders (and only because one of the other guests asked the manager if we could finally order). I don’t even fully blame the waiter for the poor service it was clear he was overworked. Multiple times I saw him literally sprinting down the hall just to keep up. Next up was the food. Most of it was pretty terrible. The bread sticks are doused in more oil then I have ever seen. The appetizers were horrible the fried zucchini was bland, the fried calamari had barely any breading and was very spongey. The dinner I got was the pollo sorrentino and it was just ok (except the steak fries were flavorless with no seasoning) it was certainly not worth the experience leading up to it. Sad to have to give one star. I've been in St. Catherine's Hospital Smithtown, for 10 days, unable to have food. Was feeling a bit better so thought to share a nice meal, with my love...in my hospital room. I knew I couldn't eat much but because he's been so supportive, I tried to make it nice for my man. I ordered the Stracciatella Soup. Good choice. The ONLY good choice.

I ordered Baked Ziti...and its pretty tough to screw that up BUT...Buona Sera managed to provide the WORST Baked Ziti I've ever tasted. I am a Cook...I entertain, even have a small following from NY to Las Vegas, got my meatballs. I get it but whatever either old sauce or cheese they were using, was heinous!. I asked for a Broccoli Roll ...got spinach with a WAD of dough. Chicken Cutlet Parmigiana was Chicken Finger/ tidbit Parmigiana...also with a very bad sauce. Lastly...the Rice Ball. Terrible and worth only a bite. Good that I still have my room at the hospital. Very disappointed and angry. I'll be happy to teach you how to make sauces CORRECTLY, Buona Sera...but its going to cost...
