The place itself was fine. The problem is getting your images. You can forget about it. They use a service called Verisma. I had an imaging test done in Smithtown and I’ve been trying since May to get my CD of my images which I had to take to an oncologist. Of course, since I did not have my images, I had to have the extremely painful test repeated at Stony Brook Hospital. After hours and hours of phone calls to Verisma and hearing 14 different stories, and finally being told that my CD was mailed on June 1, but of course they sent it FedEx with no tracking number I still don’t have it. 7/19 - I called them today at 4:25 PM and the recording said that they were closed, to call back during normal business hours which are 8 AM to 4:45 PM. They must’ve closed early. Nothing about this situation makes any sense. And not only that, if I don’t receive my CD with my HIPPA protected information on it I’m going to sue them. I’m going to go to the court clerk and find out how to do it myself. It can’t be that hard. I’ll update this post next week 7/20 - My third request. These are all fax requests for release of information. 8/1/22 - Spoke to a supervisor named Susan. She promised to mail out, FED EX, my CD today. 9/8/22-UPDATE. Still waiting for CD. I called again today, the phone number on the Smithtown Imaging website is for a DIFFERENT call center from Verisma, even though I pressed option 1 to make an appointment. Never press option 3 for medical records, or you'll get Verisma. I had to leave my information so they could send an email to "medical records" (I don't believe there is any such department), and "medical records responds very quickly to emails". I will keep you updated UPDATE 9/9/22: No one called me back, but I got my CD, FED EX. ...
Read moreI will never go there again! First off I was there for at least an hour and a half, keep in mind I have severe spine issues, and it is very uncomfortable for me to stand, or sit for to long. One lady in the front is rude and sarcastic, in lieu of the comments made, when I had asked why am I waiting so long. So its a week later and Dr. Trasolini still hasn't received or reviewed my bilateral knee MRI's. Too boot, both offices are adjacent to each other, maybe 200 ft away from each other. Very poor experience, should have went back to previous Radiologist. Very unprofessional on many levels. I was a little early for my appointment, but it didn’t warrant the poor treatment I received. Finally, got my results back after two weeks. I question the accuracy of their equipment, and Radiologist that...
Read moreI have been using Northwell Health Imaging almost exclusively for my mammograms, sonograms, MRI’s and CT scans. Every time I walk into the office, I am greeted by very pleasant check-in staff and my appointment on 5/17 was no different. I was greeted by Brianna with Tamisha assisting for the check-in process which was quick. The ladies there are always personable, proficient and professional. I was called in fairly quickly by Angela, who was my CT Scan tech. She made me comfortable and calmed any concerns I might have had. She checked on me during the fairly quick process and helped me up afterwards. She, too, was very friendly, proficient and highly professional. I actually like going to Northwell Health Imaging at Smithtown because I know I’ll be treated with respect, dignity and...
