La-Z-Boy Victor — Local services in Town of Victor

My husband and I bought a new leather recliner from the Victor, NY store. Our salesman (Tom) was great and ultimately sold us the recliner on our first visit. Due to the high $99 delivery fee, we chose to pick up the recliner ourselves. We were assured the recliner would be heavily wrapped in plastic so it could travel in our pickup truck safely without getting wet or dirty. Upon pickup, (Oct. 9), the recliner was shown to us and then wrapped. But… the wrapping job was terrible and they used the cheapest, thinnest plastic wrap possible. My husband had to advocate to have it re-wrapped. They slightly did, but it was not a good job and immediately partially blew off a mile down the road. Also, the manager on duty that closed out our bill was not friendly at all. It was such an opposite experience from the buying day. I don’t think it was unreasonable to insist on a good wrapping job as it was a very expensive chair. In the end, the chair is home and in place, and we like it. One of the men must’ve had dirty fingers when they wrapped the chair because there were a couple of finger smudge marks on the leather, but we were able to take care...

Went in hoping to find something decently comfortable. Tom spent ~ 3 hours with me going through all options. I gave him a lot of parameters and he knows the products inside and out and was able to narrow it down to what he thought would be decent options.

Was really happy with what I selected but later that night after I had already bought it I changed my mind on the material due to pets. Went back the next morning at open and Tom got the change taken care of for me.

No pressure sales, knowledgable, and just want to get you the product that you want rather than trying to upsell and increase commissions. I don't have the product yet and am reviewing on the buying experience so far, but based on this experience I would absolutely go back to this place. Regarding comfort, I had visited 3 other area furniture stores. Nothing felt as comfortable as the La-Z-Boy sofas. Time will tell how the product holds up, but generally I remember people and how long they've had these things so I don't have any concerns.

My wife and I recently visited the La-Z-Boy store near Eastview mall to purchase a reclining sofa. We had purchased a recliner from this store previously and went in with an idea of the exact model sofa we wanted.

We were greeted by Jim, who took the time to get to know us and our needs/preferences in furniture. He was personable, patient, and very knowledgeable about the options. Jim was exceptional, and we would 100% seek him out for our next La-Z-Boy purchase. The manager there was also super helpful and friendly. They treat you well at this store and seem to truly value you as a customer.

After 30ish minutes of testing different options we landed on the perfect reclining sofa for our needs, and surprisingly we were able to get it delivered less than a week later. The delivery guys were also very friendly and helpful.
