Stickley Furniture — Local services in Town of Victor

I love Stickley and have collected many pieces over the years. Amazing quality. I gave the company 5 stars. However, I feel like I’m being stalked when I go there. The salespeople are always friendly but they follow me around and try to make small talk. It’s very distracting and makes me want to leave as soon as I see them making a bee line for me. I try to tell them in the nicest possible way that I want time to look around and will ask for them if I need assistance. The salesperson will usually leave me alone for a few minutes and then magically reappear as I come around a corner. Luckily they finally got rid of the reception desk right by the door. I’m not faulting the salesperson, I know they are on commission. They are trained and required to do this - convert as many lookers into a buyer as they can. I recently went in to the Syracuse store to look at dressers and I didn’t have a lot of time. The salesperson would not leave me alone. I ran out of time and left in frustrated. Stickley really needs to rethink their sales model. I bet for every one person who buys, two left in frustration or didn’t even come in at all knowing they will be not be left alone to look around. Stickley - please pay your sales people a living wage and get rid of the commission...

We are so thrilled to have found Stickley Audi! Alicia, our sales representative, was so incredibly patient and kind. She had an amazing amount of product knowledge and went out of her way to help us find exactly what we needed. She is a caring person who takes her job very seriously. Her high level of professionalism is an asset to the company. We will be back to buy more pieces from her in the future!

The selection was high quality and very affordable. The showroom was set up very well to showcase each grouping's best features.

Amra in the delivery scheduling department was very courteous and conscientious. The scheduling and delivery went without a hitch.

We also are so happy with Shaun and Isaiah, who delivered our furniture. They were very careful with not only our furniture, but also our freshly remodeled home. They were friendly and made sure everything was perfect before they left our home. Who knew furniture delivery could be a fun experience?

We can't say enough about how satisfied we were with the whole experience. We will definitely be recommending Stickley to our friends and associates.

3/14/24: I was surprised 😮 that they sold other brands. Some of their items were not priced very high. The employee, Brad, was very nice & was able to get me a price match with LazyBoy. 3/18/24: I went back & bought a beautiful solid walnut dining 🍽 room table, chairs 💺, & buffet. Brad & his manager, Paul, were excellent, with their expert knowledge & no pressure salesmanship. I can't even ✍️ write the extraordinary thing Paul did for me. They treated me very well, & I appreciated it. 3/19/24: The Stickley delivery coordinator, Susan, called me for a delivery on 3/20/24! That was great service! 3/20/24: Fast efficient service. The delivery men were neat & respectful & even called me prior to coming over. The Stickley pieces fit perfectly in my brand new (to me) home...
