These people are vagrantly rude! Nothing I want to purchase(meaningless and infeasible to most) is ever priced. I always get the same response when inconvenienced “we can’t sell it yeah sorry”. No you are not sorry! You do not do your job properly then hold me accountable for your lack of competence to vindicate yourselves of laziness. Then they always have the nerve to make you feel inferior when you can not “Round it up to support our mission”. Very poor attention is placed when stocking shelves so most items of interest to the public are damaged. Heavy pictures are always stacked above safe levels along with mirrors. Clothing and domestics are soiled quite frequently. There are always Karen coffee cups left all over like some sick Easter egg hunt sponsored by Starbucks, but remember “No food or drink in the store”. People bring in unlicensed “support pets” because they are too selfish to leave them at home where they are comfortable away from their owners insecurities. This causes me to personally have bad allergy attacks in the parking lot(one attack away from a lawsuit). People let there kids run amuck like it’s a Chuck-E-Cheese. I do not know what genius decided on tile floors as with a shopping cart it immediately turns into a game of Perfection! Everything in housewares is just stacked on top of each other like a game of Jenga, let’s hope you don’t want the item on bottom. The furniture is often heavily soiled, broken or missing parts. The aerosol deordeizers also need to be reconsidered as it can literally cause people with allergies, asthma and COPD to have a very hard time breathing. Also how about a discount for us average Joe’s that do the dirty work that make civilized life possible for the rest of the population. Why no discount for plumbers, mechanics, cashiers, dining staff, highway departments etc? I would provide this review with zero stars if it were possible. I will continue to shop at all goodwill locations but I will NEVER ROUND UP TO SUPPORT YOUR LACK OF CARE...
Read moreExtremely unprofessional, customer service was awful, and to say to someone we've been holding this in for months!! We're sick and tired of this, while shaking, face turning red and awhile you're leaned towards me!!! Speaking to me in a demeaning manner like I'm a child. Literally causing a scene in front of everyone, who does that. Okay. Throwing marbles at my sons while they were sitting on the couch, yet saying we have cameras. One employee is saying it's okay for them to throw a plastic ball to one another where no one was, then another employee, taking it all out of context, you're saying customers are coming up to you saying, oh their legs must be broken since they're not doing what their mother told them to do. Seriously!!!!! Okay. So now as the manager of Goodwill at Victor, NY you're allowing your customers to harass my family.
Thank God I'm unbothered by your negativity. To say every time, YOU come in here. Who is YOU? Please clarify. We have to correct your sons! Let's be clear. I'll never ask you to baby sit, nor would I ask anyone to watch my kids!! If you're bothered that their black little boys, that's on you when you look yourself in the mirror, no one else.
Goodwill did not hire you to come to work to be belligerent, rude, unprofessional, condensing, and demeaning to your paying customers! Nor for your customers to walk on eggshells when they are in your store.
Also, Goodwill did not hire you to be emotionally, mentally condensing, demeaning, unprofessional, belligerent, disrespectful and rude towards you're paying customers.
However, to say we've been holding this in for months, so every time you saw me, you were calculating when you would, what? That is intentional infliction of emotional distress. We should not have to have anxiety or walk on eggshells when we are at your store. To me that is a threat to the wellbeing of my family when we walk...
Read moreThe new Goodwill location must be under new—and worse—management. At the old location, I've donated items without issue. At the new one, the man accepting my donations was pretty rude. I'm also wondering if the supply chain has somehow been changed, because the quality of the women's clothes is just miserable compared to what it was at the old location. And, last but not least, the one thing that has me least likely to return to this location: the children's clothes are not organized by size, gender, or color. As far as I can tell, they are literally tossed on the rack in no discernible order whatsoever. Shopping at the old location for clothes for our kinda-sorta large family has saved us thousands of dollars over the years. I could run in with four kids, pick the racks, and be out. I am not about to go through every single rack of children's clothes in search of four different sizes when the staff can't even bother to arrange them by size. Even the local thrift stores manned by unpaid volunteers do this! Instead of wasting your time here, I strongly suggest the Community Support Shop just down the road in Bloomfield, the Salvation Army in Geneva, or the Goodwill in Macedon. The Victor Goodwill used to be such a bright, well-stocked location. Now,...
