I was driving in the area and thought about a few of my friends have gone to this place and said the clothing was really nice.So I decided to go in today. As I entered, I was not greeted by the few employees that were standing there. I continued looking at the clothing. Beautiful and soft clothing, a lot of things over priced. Clearance area was 50% off. But even with that, prices are too high. Don't get me wrong, I buy brand names for my 13 year old daughter and myself. I could afford somethings in there. But as I mentioned in the beginning, it's been 20 minutes and I still have not had anyone approach me or say HI or How are you today, or even Is there anything I might be able to help you with. The employees have walked past me several times, especially the one that was at the front when I arrived walked in front of me looking at a sweater to reach over without saying anything to grab a shirt for someone else.
I truly felt invisible and now hurt. I now feel like I am not welcome in this store, as if I'm a homeless person looking around or looked at like I am going to steal something. My hurt went to very upset in my whole body of not ever wanting to purchase anything here for family or friends. I am a personal shopper for many of my clients and companies, especially Personal shop for the husband/guy who needs a gift for their wives/girl friends. I also post and recommend through social media if I love places as well. But at this moment, I feel as if I'm at the boutique like Julia Roberts in Pretty women....being judged for how i might look (purple down LL Bean jacket, LuLu leggings, Lulu pompom hat which i took off and oh course had to redo my pony tail from the cold wind). But none of that should matter. I looked the same as everyone in the store. In this world, it truly doesn't matter how someone looks as they walk through a door or how they speak. It's the respect and kind jesters of Hello or welcome to the store that would of been nice to be noticed. I was in the store 30 minutes!!!!
I did see the sweater I wanted to purchase for my daughter, but I guess I will have to let that pass since how I felt being in this store, to even when I was leaving...no one said Thank you for coming!!, walking yo my vehicle is just felt so hurt and wanted to cry. So hurt to be...
Read moreI visited Brand Bar in Victor for the first time on Saturday with my daughter and had a wonderful shopping experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and assisted with trying on shoes and finding the right fit. The staff even offered to start a fitting room for us and hold the items we wished to purchase at the desk. The experience and service was impeccable, and the store itself if gorgeous, offering something for everyone at a variety of price points. I haven’t had this much fun shopping in a long time and can’t...
Read moreAsks for all of your personal info but will not look up a receipt for you. Absolutely ridiculous. They will not let you purchase anything without giving your personal information. Why do they need it if they can't look up your receipt? Will no longer buy anything there can look and then order directly from the clothing company as there is rarely any sales anyway. Overall...
